Im Mr ****ing Negative therefore I am going to try and be positive:

 

- Clean sheet

- Controlled the game better compared to first two league games

- Page & Braybrooke very good together

- Fullbacks great

- Bristric linked up well at times

 

Major negative:

- We dont look like scoring...

at this level just isnt good enough or well maybe next week 😁 at some point you have to show that you mean business else it is never going to happen !

0.06 xG per shot. Lots of non-chances bar Reid’s. He can’t coach a team to actually carve the opposition.

Think the performance was fine.

 

Hit the woodwork twice. 

 

Bobby another decent chance, Cullen a two yard tap in missed, also couldn't get on the end of Howells header back.

Just can’t see how this possession football is going to work on shite pitches away in the winter, it doesn’t even get us points in August on one of the best pitches, relegation battle ahead

Need to reset any expectations of promotion to something more realistic based on that. Don’t be fooled by all the ball in the middle of the park. MK Dons wanted that, they were comfortable with that.

 

Truth is, we didn’t trouble them, the blue print is set and we will struggle to win any game individually without a rethink of ideas.
