significant lack of bite in our midfield and zero alternatives to Braybrooke and page says otherwise. Ideally frees page up to play further forward as well

If he was here last night you'd have 100% bought him on for the last 15-20 and probably avoided the nervy last 10mins when our players were blowing and maybe lacking a little bit of experience. No idea if he'll start, but that and overall leadership is what he's here for.

Aslong as Martin is braver than Marti and others.

 

Page and Braybrooke should be our starting CM’s with a 10 or added defensive CM depending on the opposition.

 

I don’t actually mind this signing, as long as he’s on League One wages rather than bottom end PL ones.

Good player, has been there and done it. 30 odd apps for a team that got promoted from the Championship last season. Should have a cigar on at this level in this team. 
 

Only worry would be what kind of wage he’s on, would presume he’s near the top of our bill after our clear out.

And we've been too nice for too long so it's good McCarron or Martin recognised that and brought him in. Need it especially in league 1

Page and Braybrooke are good players but not machines who can't play every 90 minutes of the next 42 games.

It's not really a worry though when previously we paid 25m for Skipp, 20m for Daka and so on

We’re going to need bodies. This is an unforgiving league, games come thick and fast, Braybrook has had a serious injury, so we do need to manage him, we can’t make him play to exhaustion…. He’s promotion experience, is battle hardened and I think possesses a bit more quality than some give him credit for. 

 

He’s certainly a better experienced option than twats like Ayew.

I was hoping we’d sign this kind of player whilst watching the Plymouth thugs getting away with it.

He also reads the game and could be immeasurable help to the youngsters.

Possibly our most influential signing.
