Hardly inspiring if that is his level. Need another GK if Jakub is out long term.

From what i gather about this lad, he's proper odd.

Have you ever played with a goalkeeper?

Anyone with knowledge of if he's any good? At age 20 coming on 21, you'd think he'd get a higher level loan than Slough if he's going to make it.

Nothing wrong with him getting some first team football.

Odd timing based on Stol’s injury

If we’ve decided that he’s not capable of being the no 3 then worth looking through the list of goalies who are unattached because we might be taking one in for the season.

Goalkeeper development is always different compared to outfield.

Nobody can predict what his ceiling is but it’s literally just a month loan. I’m guessing we didn’t want to commit to a full season loan due to the Stolarczyk injury.

Wasn't the big reason for getting the lad in from Blackpool so that we could get Bausor out on loan?

Is him playing step 2 football against part timers really whats best for his development?

McNamara joined Slough in the summer and has made three appearances for Alan Julian’s side. Everyone at the club would like to thank Josh for his efforts and commitment during his time with the Rebels and wish him all the very best for the next chapter of his career.

I guess we wanted to get him a move to League Two and this has happened because we weren't able to do that.

Maybe a month of men's football might benefit him? Not entirely sure the quality of the shots and crosses will be as high as U21s football but it might be more competitive and physical at set-pieces. Especially in a division where any performance bonuses in September could mean extra money in October's pay and therefore in time for Christmas.

Difficult for a GK though. Only 1 spot and no chances to impress off the bench. Pretty normal for keepers to go to that level to get some game time, especially with the flexibility of their transfer windows. But I don't think he's ever going to break through here anyway so not a big surprise.

He's a goal keeper.

Who has voluntarily gone to Slough.

Case Closed.

Loads of young goalies go to that kind of level. My local step 3 side had a Bournemouth goalie with them all of last season.

Oh as I look it up he's still there, so a 6 division drop for his loan. Bausor is dropping 3.
