Peterborough Match Thread

[FosseSpark]

Burns Chaplin Howell Watson McFarlane Bristric Doyle have been an absolute breath of **** all this season so far.

[Rubbersoul]

Okoli, Reid & Thomas are the final 3 Horcruxes and we’ll have no success till they’re gone

[Vacamion]

McCarthy, Thomas and Okoli

So our defence is rather holey

Who's going to give the ball to a Peterborough forward first Okoli or O'Hora

I think it will the McCarthy to Thomas pass that never reaches him.

Have I been deluding myself or does our team suddenly look quite shit?

It really does. But in fairness, we still haven’t had the chance to play what I reckon is our best 11. I imagine Chaplin and Smallbone will start when they’re both fit.

[Miquel The Work Geordie]

I do still think we'll win by virtue of Peterborough being shite, but we signed the best part of 20 players in the summer and they account for less than half of that starting eleven. Warra rebuild.

[woznotwos]

'Kin hell that's disappointing.

[Ric Flair]

No football manager with a pig headed refusal to deviate away from possession for possessions sake can pick someone like Caleb Okoli and be expected to be taken seriously.

Can’t really include Chaplin in this. Not exactly his fault being injured.

Souttar was one of the better players the other night.Think Bray time needed resting, but Reid🫣

[Dan]

Another depressing XI.

[lcfcsnow]

It was obvious it pre season you can’t play those two weaklings Reid and Cullen together and expect anything good to come of it yet here we still are

Do you reckon our CBs play a game of rock, paper, scissors and the top two get to play?

The two losers get to play

[ozvaldo]

Is Chaplin dead?

[brookfox]

It’s almost reached the stage where the lineup is irrelevant. It’s the tactics that do us week in week out.

[woznotwos]

DCR to score today or ill eat my hat!

Okoli to Reid is going to be disgusting to watch.  Can’t pass to cant control.

Let's face it, that ball isn't getting to Reid is it

[Ric Flair]

The Throb will score today, usually good for opening the scoring too when he's started getting dogs abuse.

Yeah but it was the same day as Jason Jarretts birthday so the social media team didn’t mention it.

[Blanchflower78]

Absolutely reeks of an away win now, Bobby and Okoli, wow.

[mod hero]

I ****ing hate Russel Martin

[James and his giant peach]

Honking team. Okoli and Reid shouldn't be anywhere near the team. No striker on the bench. Draw or loss.

Unfortunately for us, probably in the penalty area

[Rubbersoul]

Can someone explain to me how a manger who’s so obsessed with heavy possession and playing out from the back signs & plays Alex McCarthy and a CB like Okoli?
