Just looking at the recent data here and that’s one hell of a take. Okoli is one alongside O’Horror and Thomas making mistakes which lead to goals

  1. Where ?
  2. OK, but @TrentFox was specifically making a call about passing, not 'mistakes' in general

[Ignores the spectre of 'recent data'] I think his passing has been better in the last four games (better than O'Hora), but that's from low start point and in games where's he's more time to 'compose' himself. We saw what happens when he's put under pressure agaist Luton (although that wasn't a misplaced pass)

That said whoever that line-breaking pass against Wigan was meant for it's perhaps the mark of an uptick in confidence that he even attempted it.

Braybrooke should come back in for Doyle and Lundstram for Chaplin.

Well, interesting. Who would you like to see in his position?

I’d play my gran ahead of him and she’s been dead 10 years!

He made two howlers on Tuesday playing out. Luton obviously he couldn’t pass water, let alone the error

That line breaking pass didn’t even reach its attempted player -Alves and didn’t reach Riis either

Well...yeah? Is people calling him crap "confirmation bias" when by your own admission he is prone to ****ing up?

On the same hand, braybrooke has played quite a few bad passes that just get ignored.

There was one in the Wigan game that he played in to the middle of the pitch in front of our box, straight to there attacker. Nothing came of it in the end but it was an awful pass to no one and could’ve easily been punished if Wigan weren’t shit.

Disclaimer: I am not saying braybrooke is shit and I agree that he had been one of our best players this season. I also agree that okoli is largely a shockingly bad player and a bomb scare. Just pointing out that if okoli, Thomas or ohara played that exact same pass there would be 15 pages talking about it.

Russell Martin hints at Leicester City midfield change with Will Smallbone in new role | Leicestershire Live

Russell Martin hints at Leicester City midfield change with Will Smallbone in new role
Will Smallbone is set for a new role in the Leicester City midfield

Josh Holland Leicester City correspondent
29 Oct 2026
Russell Martin has hinted that Will Smallbone could take on a different role in Leicester City's midfield after impressing in his first start for the club.

Smallbone made his debut in the 4-0 win over Bromley before playing 45 minutes against Luton Town. On Tuesday night, he made his first start for the Foxes and completed his first hour of football in more than a year.

The former Southampton midfielder replaced the suspended John Lundstram against Wigan Athletic and impressed despite receiving a booking in the sixth minute. Lundstram will be available again on Saturday, leaving Martin with a decision to make over his starting XI.

Smallbone partnered Louis Page in central midfield, behind attacking midfielders Conor Chaplin and Kamari Doyle. However, Martin has suggested the summer signing will operate further forward as the season progresses.

"It was beautiful," Martin said on his performance. "He's a really good footballer and actually, he's played a bit deeper tonight than he probably will moving forward, because he can do both.

"He's a really fantastic football player. Obviously, he's worked for us before so he knows the system very well. I think on Saturday, he helped us a lot when he came on the pitch and tonight, he helped us."

Leicester have several options in central midfield, with Sammy Braybrooke dropping to the bench against Wigan. The academy graduate had been playing in a deeper role than usual and earned praise from Martin after coming on.

"He didn't lose it [his spot], he didn't deserve to come out of the team," Martin said. "We knew we had to bring Will off and the best person to replace him was Sammy. So do we start Sammy? The same for Chaplin.

"I loved Liam Cullen and Sammy's performance when they came on. I wish I could have made another sub with Harry Howell, but we can't, unfortunately.

"I enjoyed the subs' energy and they really helped us."

Please put Bristric on the bench at least.

Based on my Merc post I think Smallbone starting in front on Lundstram is a banker.

My lad wants to go to this, so trying to buy tickets but is listed on the website as "coming soon" even though the match is tomorrow?

Even if I click the "Get tickets" button it says "this event is not for sale yet"

Am I missing something or is it just standard ticket office website crapness?

It's a belter of a confected quote

It is always the same on here. Funny how nobody point out TrentFox said "which one of our players doesn't? [make blunders]".

I cba getting into comparing players though because I could probably count on one hand the players that I rate.

Club doesn't help itself does it?

Trying to transfer my brothers ticket to my dad - it won;t allow because even though they are getting more money for the ticket - adult to senior, the system they have requires me to ring and get them to do a over-rule. You wonder why folk are supicious of digital ticketing this is - it's not the digital ticket, it's the extra ****ing effort to do the most simple task.
