Yet again we are overcomplicating it.

And? Everyone was saying how crap the championship was. You've picked out some of the better teams. And they don't have the same team when they get promoted do they? It's the level above but look at what Hull and Sunderland did. They scraped through and then completely transformed the next year. We went up easily and then came straight back down. Teams do the same in every league when they get promoted.

 

And why pick the last 11 years and then mention us which was 18 years ago?

 

Confident I've watched more L1/L2 football than 99% of people of here.

The worst thing about not leading at this point of the game is that we’ll be forced to make subs, most of which make us a worse team.

Haven't watched for a while (to keep myself sane). We are just a very ordinary League One side these days aren't we? Another absolute defensive horror show to let them back in and lots of passing at the back, as the off the ball movement is non existing.

O'Hora is absolutely woeful, Okolis not much better, but it is genuinely infuriating how we are completely incapable of going through the gears. We only have one tempo to our football and it makes it so easy to defend against.

 

Also, by no means restricted to just this game but why, when a full back is on a booking, do we never then look to isolate said full back and force them to either let us create chances or risk the red card?

We've played well and should be winning. One lapse leading to a diabolical goal and us being un-clinical has left us equal.

 

Still confident we get it done in the second half assuming Burns and Chaplin don't come on too early.

How this game pans out is pivotal to me as to whether or not it will work out for Martin here.

 

Every game we have been behind in this season or have lost the lead in this season, we have either lost or drawn.

 

We are a fair weather team that can't cope when things are going against us. Couldn't even manage a few minutes of injury time last week at Luton.

 

We are going nowhere and it needs to change.

 

Get the three points today and I'll start to believe we may be turning the corner.

 I'm perfectly relaxed about it. Just making the point that everyone slags off the championship so why do the outliers suddenly show how great team's are at this level. Most are pretty poor, often is just who's less shit than the others
