Unfortunately they're just rumours and apparently been shot down by some journalists. Knowing Nolan he likes to be as secretive as possible, sometimes all the way up to release - nobody knew what Inception was about until the first trailer but even then, it was so vague that nobody quite knew what they were in stall for. I remember some screenwriting blogs at the time were posting fake reviews of what they thought the script was about... Even so, considering he's cast the worst actor alive for keeping things secret, I don't think we'll find out for a while.

A selection:

Original films:

Untitled Christopher Nolan project

Untitled Steven Spielberg project

Untitled Jordan Peele project (Get Out, Us, Nope)

Untitled Daniels project (Swiss Army Man, Everything Everywhere All At Once)

Untitled Lee Cronin project (Hole in the Ground, Evil Dead Rise)

Project Hail Mary (adaptation of same author as The Martian, dir by Lord & Miller who did the Jump Street movies and most of Rogue One till they were sacked)

Weapons (Zach Cregger - Barbarian)

Werwulf by Robert Eggers (Nosferatu, Northman, The Lighthouse, The Witch)

Franchise films:

Avatar 3 (late December 2025)

Scream 7

Dune: Messiah

Avengers Doomsday

Toy Story 5

Shrek 5

Moana live action remake

The Batman Part II

I'm sure some will be moved around but it's looking like a *fairly busy* year.

Spider-Man 4, taking shape now.

I watched the Crow on a long haul flight last week. The worst (relatively high budget) film I have ever seen.

I agree. Looked like it was worth a watch However it was dreadful.

Just watched Dark Waters about DuPont and their polluting of the world with the waste from the manufacture of Teflon. Absolutely mind blowing that they could  get away with it and companies are still knowingly and globally wrecking the earth.

Shocking

Went to see A Complete Unknown at the weekend. Good film at looking into Bob Dylan's early life, career and turn from folk music to rock music. Even for music fans who don't particularly like Dylan, the switch to electric music is key part of music history.

Awful stuff but a great film. Mark Ruffalo is great.

Wasn't sure what to make of Nosferatu. I just found the titular character to be a bit... underwhelming.

Fun voice, but should've kept him unrevealed fully until much later in the film. Couldn't get past the dodgy moustache.

Generally a big fan of Eggers and whilst I enjoyed it, I preferred the VVitch and Lighthouse.

I wondered what you were all on about, I don’t follow cinematic releases. Discovering they remade the classic Nosferatu leaves me wanting to destroy things.

Have a few westerns on disc but  this is a fave, rewatched this the other night.

The movie is full of quality actors but Kilmers Doc steals every scene.

I think Unforgiven is probably one of my faves

Being as it was Auschwitz 80th memorial this week, I'd like to mention the movie

A Zone of Interest. The director uses sounds rather than visual representation to create the horror that there was with Auschwitz, it's really worth a look.

:wes:perve???  I just say what people think, nothing filth about it, the tits were filmed and designed for purpose, it added nothing to the plot, if someone ls a perve its the producers and directors.  I stand by my post, the nice cities did not make up for a shit film, the producers and directors failed.
