Good result to pick up 7 bonus points, given how the first day went. Majority of the batsmen in form now, hopefully.

Massive game away at Glamorgan next.

After struggling to buy a run, an ominous 85 from Next Big Thing (TM) Asa Tribe against Notts today.

Ingram’s still their key man though. They’re also light on bowlers so it’ll be interesting to see what pitch they put on. If we can get a positive result then we’ll be flying.

Thanks.

I think we're better than Glamorgan and probably enough to match Yorkshire too.

Not sure about  York's esp if Root Brook play a few matches

Excellent result. Often when you draw with a top team there is luck or the weather involved. None of that this time.

A real confidence booster for the batsmen.

Btw......22 wides from Ajaz?

Set up Sibley for one of the wickets.

Deliberately aiming for a bit of rough that was leading to serious turn, hence the wides. It was the only chance of forcing a win.

The wides were the ones that didn't turn and the umpire deemed it to be negative play (deliberately bowling down the legside). Harsh really because it was a clear plan but once you've given one you have to do the rest.

Quite a funny period of play The wides down leg side were win win if they turned the batter had to deal with them, if they didn't turn then he gets to bowl it again (the extra run was neither hear nor there to us). Until Pope realised you could just kick them away!

Good to see 2nd XI games being streamed this year...

Just to put this into context. Leicester City, as a Premier League team, couldn't be bothered to stream U21 games despite far superior resources and potential reach lol

Agreed with less then 100 people watching though not sure it makes sense financially

To be fair, it's one static camera that only really shows if a wicket is taken. I doubt it's costing much.
