Middlesex 55-5 and only 150 ahead when said injured player comes in. He then bats on one leg to get 50 and help stretch the lead to 272. Looks a certain defeat now against a team that have lost 7 out of 9. Very frustrating. Missing Wright so much.

We chased 370 against these at Grace Rd, so there is always a chance.

A draw will be good enough to finish fourth if Somerset spin Surrey out today.

The video coverage on the stream from Middlesex is excellent.

Really quick on the replays and for two amateur blokes on comms, it's some effort.

8 down

Wrapped up pretty quick, though Middlesex weren't hanging around. 293 is very possible given the quality we have at the top.

Looking forward to it, so it will probably be over by Tea.

Rumours started to say that ECB may delay or call off the Royal London Cup as they are concerned that a covid outbreak could mess up the 100 and they will need available players

Typical. Our best chance of a success, given the players other teams will be missing.
