Middlesex 55-5 and only 150 ahead when said injured player comes in. He then bats on one leg to get 50 and help stretch the lead to 272. Looks a certain defeat now against a team that have lost 7 out of 9. Very frustrating. Missing Wright so much.

We chased 370 against these at Grace Rd, so there is always a chance.

True but this pitch doesn't look like one on which you score 300+ on day 4.
