Something about Naveen I love the chaos and ability to take you high to low in an over. Perfect for County, just as you think he has nailed it. Chucks one head height.

I like him. Interesting to watch. Bring him back next year!

I'd have him back to. After that debacle with the head high beamer I thought he was done but he bounced back well. For a young lad he's done really well, got a set on him.

Got to be honest, after that Durham game I had given up on him. But he's proven me wrong and has taken wickets very regularly. 24 in 13 games makes him the top wicket taker in the competition. Needs to cut his economy rate, though, but clearly worth another go next season.

Always nice to beat those willy pullers

Big time Charlie’s get beat by little old Leicestershire, Zac Chappell has gone backwards at Notts 😃, both teams batters guilty of giving plenty of wickets away with daft shot selection, the field at GR was rapid and yet so many batters went aerial and got caught!

Duckett was getting loads of stock from our lot for being tiny but took it well. Gave some back but disappeared off the pitch sharpish when we’d won lol

I thought the general view was that he’s gravy

Grass ain't always greener is it? If what I've been told by someone who works at Trent Bridge is right, he gets up to some, erm, interesting stuff off the field...

I’ve warmed to him. A right cult hero

Always amazed at the lack of knowledge by the cricket commentators Richard Rae saying  only Patel and Stevens still playing from the original competition and  the Notts  commentater not even knowing that Notts player Peter Trego played in the first one back in 2003

Yep. Plus Batty playing for Surrey

Nuveen has turned out to be great. Think he took some time to adapt and he's very young but 24 wickets when the next best is 18 is some margin.

're Dobell's article I think the 2 include Glamorgan with their ball out and lack of success.

Maybe us but that would be harsh considering our record of producing through the academy and long term track record.

How has Naveen been overlooked for the 100? Very odd as he’s here and leading T20 wicket taker.

Naveen only a boy and a bloody big ask to underpin our bowling would only get better next year, also clearly follows Niccos advice of go out and throw your bat at it

Very true. When you consider how poor the rest of our pace bowling has been he's had quite a job on his hands.

Whilst I couldn't possibly comment; there's very little chance of me disagreeing either!

Anyone know much about Rehan Ahmed?

Looks like he's been selected in the county XI to play India in a 3 day warm up next week.

Just looked him up leg spinner who left the Notts academy at 13  to join us considered  a top prospect

Wonderful innings by Inglis this evening. Nice finish to our Blast campaign. Only frustration is I feel we were just about good enough to qualify for the quarter finals. That game against Durham did us. Hope we can get the same overseas back next season, and if we can start a bit better, we've got a very decent chance

Extraordinary batting from Inglis

118 off 61 balls, wow.

10 x 4, 8 x 6

Gonna be horrible when one of the bigger counties get their mits on Inglis next summer and he comes back and smashes us everywhere.

He’s more than worthy of an Australia A team honours at least. Aussies could have done with him in this T20 series with West Indies
