Brainy Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 New manager, new players.Still nothing changes. What? We conceded a goal in the last minute. Under the managers we've had the past few years - they'd be scoring to make it 5-0, not to equalise.
FleckneyFox Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 If we went behind in the 87th and then we equalised i would have been happy with that but instead i have a bitter taste in my mouth
lee7 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I feel so sorry for our players because it's a good point and they seem to have played quite well but because of the manner of the equaliser, in the last minute, the fans are STILL gonna be negative. It's a good result and I won't hear anything else. The performance is a different matter, we may well have been bad, but nothing you can say you make me think it's not a solid point. i agree it is a good point but we really should be able to keep a lead for more than 5 minutes.
Moreton Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Bryn Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I wouldn't expect any quick answers, cause people who went will be down in London...
Thracian Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 2nd half sounded decent. without dragging up the same old nonsence i do hope Allen today saw how De Vries will never be good enough for us. a point there isn't bad, but we could really do with learning how to defend in the dying stages of games I didn't hear the commentary, didn't see the match, and don't know who played well or badly. But I don't see how any one match decides anyone who's had a considtently good pre-season etc is good enough or not.
MC Prussian Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 First half awful, second one brilliant (apart from injury time).
dhermon Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 The new lad playing LB sounded very solid on paper its a good point to get but frustrating as all fook knowing we threw 2 points away yet again in the last minutes of a game
James_lcfc Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Probabaly would of taken it before the game though!
morris1234 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 stuff a draw this is a lose a lose of 2 points i hate this oh well least we got a point crap is so crap it's a losers mentality what?
lee7 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 So Fulop and Clarke ...... Any Good today ? john barber and gary rowett seemed to think they were
Bluefoxtim Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Suppose we should look on the bright side...... we did'nt lose and hopefully MA will drop De Vries for the Watford Match. Shut up
Milky Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 stuff a draw this is a lose a lose of 2 points i hate this oh well least we got a point crap is so crap it's a losers mentality You're doing who with the what now?
wurmer Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I can't take this any more. Didn't someone work out that if games finished on 80mins, we would have been 2nd in the League last season.. sigh.
Stuliasz Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Good result, bad way to achieve it...6/10! Agreed.
sdb Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I didn't hear the commentary, didn't see the match, and don't know who played well or badly. But I don't see how any one match decides anyone who's had a considtently good pre-season etc is good enough or not. no, you misunderstand. i've seen him play before. losing weight won't give him talent. i'm sorry but i'm right. he's always been poor and today we improved when he left the field of play. was he really good in pre-season, or just ok? either way, oadby standard teams don't play in the championship
Milky Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I can't take this any more.Didn't someone work out that if games finished on 80mins, we would have been 2nd in the League last season.. sigh. That can't be correct. It is a bad state of affairs though.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 what? Sorry mate been a long nite for me what i'm trying to say is a draw shouldn't be classified as a pass in my book it is a loss a loss of 2 points and should be talked about as a loss if Leciester are going to strive for success (Promotion) we should have 3 points in mind every game we play, 1 point doesn't cut it in my book nor should it mm's or ma's
Milky Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Gutted. We all are, but we knew it was coming didn't we.
Stevosevic Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I just hate looking at the table seeing us in the bottom half, it's embarrassing, even at this early stage. It won't get much better next week either.
l444ry Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Many of us would have taken a point before kick-off, so a job well done today.
