Training completed and I'm a fully certified Amazonian, for the third time!

Not sure if I'll be doing similar routes as before across Leicestershire and Warwickshire, but if I am, you can look forward to parcels thrown over back gates and upstairs windows  Only joking!

However, middle-aged cyclists in lycra, watch out. You have been warned. 100% not joking :D

Won a day at Elland Road on Monday through work. Its all part of our charity work with Yorkshire Cancer research.

Got a stadium tour and get to take some penalties on the pitch, then have a meet and great with Dominic Matteo and Jermaine Beckford.

Going to take a Leicester shirt to wear for the shootout 🦊

Be interesting if they have just got relegated the day before!

I'm definitely one of the last people amongst my friends and family to have had it so I'm guessing probably a majority of FT will have done by now.

I only got it about 3/4 weeks ago.

The Mrs and 3 kids still haven't had it.

I worked throughout, apart from 3 months initial lockdown, same with the Mrs.

It's a miracle they haven't had it.

Probably get Monkeypox before Covid!

Took one bike for its service. Came home and worked on the other one for four and a half hours. Really chuffed with myself for fixing all the problems. Started it to check everything was golden - and promptly lost the ignition key. Spent the rest of the day emptying the garage and house trying to find where I put it.

So, the bike is is brilliant order - I just can’t ride it anywhere.

I hate getting old.

Had my day at Elland Road for Yorkshire cancer research. Was a good experience with the tour and getting to take some pens on the pitch. Scored my first pen with Beckford watching, told him it was because I watched him for Leicester...then smashed the next one over the bar as he just shook his head at me 😂

Then we got into the reason we was there, the great work they do in regards of the charity. This was all because our work is a partner of YCR and was able to do today.

YCR are doing God’s work at the moment.

They really are. We have had less opportunities with covid to do big fundraising events. Just starting to get back into them again now so looking forward to more challenges.

Just received the below in an email from the school my youngest attends

I’m all for working the kids hard, but this seems a bit excessive…

Length of School Day

We can now confirm that from September 2022 the school timings will be as follows;

Nursery - 9am to 3pm

Reception, year 1 and Year 2 - 8.45am to 3.15pm

Years 3 to 6 – 8.45am to 3.20pm

This is following the government’s announcement of all school age children requiring a 32.5 hour school day.

Been a while since I've been at school, but that looks like what I used to do back then?
