Round of golf this morning at a stunning course in beautiful weather.

Scoring was shocking today, but the company, a couple of members on here, made up for that. I won't embarrass them by naming them, but very enjoyable.

The 19th hole was probably the best lol

No better feeling than the ice cold anesthetic coursing through your veins as you drift off into the abyss....

I’m sure the science behind it is fairly simple to someone educated in that field, but it’s mad that we can do that kind of thing to humans now I’ve experienced it lol

It's clever stuff. I guess anesthetists get paid about £100k a year because they've literally got your life in their hands.

There's something pretty cool about being able to control putting people to sleep and then waking them up again I reckon.

Bizarre isn't it?

When I had my knee operation a few years ago I remember blabbing on to the anaesthetist about Matty Fryatt (it was the day we won away at Southend in League One).

Next thing I wake up and it's all done and I was laughing uncontrollably for about 20 minutes. Just couldn't stop, think I was annoying them but just couldn't help it. They were asking me if I felt groggy. I could have ran a marathon.

I remember when i dislocated my right arm/shoulder and they put me under to pop it in. I woke up in a dizzy spell of  colours swirling (beginning of this vid below reminds me of the colours). Felt like i was trippin on shrooms or something. Then all you hear is the nurses talking loud "wake up mr jattdoog, wake up mr jattdogg".  Thought to myself "why do they want to make my penis erect, what kind of hospital is this?".

Ok maybe the penis part didn't happen but what  would a story be like by me without reference to something sexual?

Anyhow....I get why they try to wake you up and I appeciate nurses (my mum was one) however I seriously wanted to slap the fuk out of the cow.

Let me do this on my own woman! I'm waking up just trying to reconcile my head with reality and the drug like state I'm in so kindly stfu! Lol.

In any other surgery i never had that experience but maybe i was just vexed due to the trauma?

It's crazy. I apparently went in to my general anaesthetic talking about one thing and when I woke up I was carrying on from where I left off lol

About 9 months ago, my Mrs picked up an old shed/summerhouse from Facebook for free.

I swore at her alot and asked what we'd do with the "rotten piece of shit that was only good for a fire".

Today, I've repaired it and put it together. Need to re-felt the roof and give it a lick of paint and I think that's a pretty good job done.

Got to love a good erection in the back garden in weather like this lol

Me and my son were in full HD celebrating our goal on the highlights. Well I was celebrating, he was taunting the Everton fans.

Must have been embarassing for him at full time! haha

Such a weird experience at work the other day.

I've been in charge of this training team for a few months now, one member of staff (same age as me) had a full temper tantrum and shouting match at me as I wasn't allowed to let her go home early. Felt a bit shit being shouted at for a decision out of my hands by a person who I'd spent so much time helping to develop and grow as a colleague.

Not the first time lately her behaviour has been flagged, so my first day back on shift will be deciding whether she gets a final chance to sort her behaviour out or if we draw the line and remove her from our team (we're meant to be setting the example for the rest of the staff, training the procedures and overall behaviours for the job)

Weird day on the roads, God knows what was in the air. Some guy didn't want me to get off the M1 at J25 - well he probably didn't care but NOT IN FRONT OF HIM. So I waited until the off ramp opened up and went past anyway, giving him some comedy applause. This resulted in him following me all the way to the school I was teaching at - luckily the gates were opening just as I arrived, and he didn't have the balls/idiocy to follow me in. Instead, he stood at the entrance, waited for me to get out of my car, and gestured, shouting 'Have you got something to say to me?'.

I didn't, I got on with my day. What is wrong with some people?

I agree. What sort of person would comedy applause someone from the safety of their own car without being willing to back it up with instant and overwhelming force if challenged about that conduct ?

Hahaha. It wasn't necessary (or wise) I do agree - however, I didn't think it was particularly provocative. I guess the guy was having a very bad day.

I was only ribbing and i’ve got into similar spats by responding with Gareth Hunt shaking coffee beans type gestures but then sometimes wondered afterwards what type of person am I getting into an altercation with. It could be a psycho Kenneth Noye type for all I know.

Not to bad. Bought me some much needed clothes (t-shirts and shorts) seeing as my other are older and faded lol

Had some hakka food for dinner.

Then my younger brother shared the news that him and the missus are expecting their first baby later this year.   Thats all 3 brothers of mine with kids. My youngest bro had a baby in 2020 and 2021. Now 2022, the other bro will make it 3 years in a row!
