Alexikokopops Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Reuben Yes I'm always trying to get my friends to listen to A Silver Mt. Zion. I imagine Mark and some of you others on here have heard of them, but most of my friends are clueless. Even the GSYBE converts.fooking beautiful. I've said it on here before, but when I saw them live and they played The Triumph Of Our Tired Eyes it was beautiful. I nearly cried, I'm well hard.
Asha Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Your friends must be foreign. Or stupid. Probably both. They live in a world of Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. In other words they're spastic emos. Good job no-one on hear is...this is my reprieve for day to day depression, spreading like utterly futterly around schools and stuff...soon we'll all be emos.

Why are you hanging around with spastic emo's in the first place.

Webbo Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 I bet there aren't many on here who have ever heard of The Isely Brothers. I like their 60's work but their early 70's output is brilliant. This is probably their greatest hit. Summer Breeze.

If no-one has heard of one of the most famous and biggest selling acts of all time then they don't know much do they?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 Dunno if anyone has heard of Susumu Yukota - he's pretty impressive.I don't think many of my mates would be familiar with GSY!BE although they seem to be relatively well known round here. A lot of the music I listen to is discovered through talking to mates and sharing ideas so I can't really think of anything else! Yes I love his Ambient stuff
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 Electric Six, hardly anyone I know had heard of them! Yes and thank the lord they haven't
Webbo Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 Its actually The Isley Brothers? If no-one has heard of one of the most famous and biggest selling acts of all time then they don't know much do they? Oops, typo. That's what I said.
