Grown adults who use the phrase 'I was today years old'.

Also people who put x's on the end of every single message they type on social media, usually women, and they probably call everyone 'hun' too. Fvk off.

@RumbleFox excepted of course.

Haha. I was today years old when I found out putting an x on the end of messages was annoying. X

Not being able to pay in cash for a pizza from Dominoes

People who “cc” you into emails and expect you to even acknowledge it. Either that or unnecessary pleasantries. No one says “with best regards”.

I've noticed some people now abbreviating that to just "Best" followed by their name - makes me cringe

And KR rather than "Kind regards" also seems to be a thing.

I tend to finish with "Cheers" or "Speak soon" which are equally as wanky I suppose

I'm so bad with email etiquette. Never worked in any kind of business environment so have no idea how you're supposed to sign off. Even putting my name seems a bit stupid, obviously it's come from me. But then I don't want to finish too abruptly. I hate email.

I think you can tell a lot about someone on how they sign off their emails!

Yeah maybe, I've never really thought about it tbh.

Also notice some people now sign off with just there first initial rather than their name as if they're some sort of pop star

Cheers

I don’t have a set sign-off and I’d adjust according to the situation.

”Cheers” - Informal, friendly, we’re getting on.

”Many thanks” - Either literal or I’m expecting you to do the thing I just asked of you.

”Kind regards” - I’m going formal, either because I don’t know you and I’m going for professionalism or I’m deliberately removing the friendliness because you’re not performing to expected standards. Particularly note if I switch from “cheers” to “kind regards” within an email chain.

”Regards” - You are really testing me now.

”” - I disdain you and everything you stand for.

Hotel rooms only having ambient lighting. Absolutely no use when you're trying to pack, unpack or get ready whilst it's dark.

You should go to the places where they don't charge you for the room by the hour.
