Being sent 'gentle' reminders without even being given a chance to do what you've been asked.

No different to just a normal reminder.

Also, when someone starts an email saying: "I hope this email finds you well?"..

When someone on here sends you a DM asking for advice on a personal matter.

Then you spend 10 minutes crafting a thoughtful reply giving the best advice you can.

Then you hear nothing back so return to the message thread to see that the person asking for advice has now 'left the conversation'.

Even if it wasn't the advice they wanted or expected to hear, a simple thank you wouldn't go amiss.

Charming.

That's incredibly ungrateful and I'm sorry to hear it.

Perhaps that person had a change of heart, despite the lack of professionalism it seems; as the person doing the DM may have thought they had quickly deleted the original DM before the person it was set to be sent to could read it, and instead sought advice from a qualified Counsellor.

It's not about a lack of professionalism, it's about a lack of common courtesy.

Anyway, I'm glad that person chose to seek advice from a qualified Counsellor.

I would usually say that the person is a total ****bag but this time I’ll be the one to point out they may have mental health issues, anxiety etc

Yes no excuses really, that's just rude.

*I ought to add - thanks Izzy. Your suggestion of a cheese grater was far better than my idea of using spoons. I shouldn’t have deleted the DM.

I think I’m prepared to vote for absolutely anybody who promises to let me attack with a cheese grater the sex organs of fly tippers.

I'll let you have my cheese grater:

Some scrap collector once fly tipped a faecal macerator on my front garden because they realised no recycling place would take it. It was still full of wet, mashed up bodily waste.

"A macerator pump, also known as a macerator toilet, toilet-waste grinder or sewer pump, is simply a collecting tank in which a pump has been placed".

Oh, the fun of having to report these to the LRI estates team when the machines pack in after every 30 minutes or so on the wards..

This Accused Fake Grooming Scandal programme. I remember reading about it when the girl in question was found out for lying and lying some more. Basically damaged a whole town because of the fake story she concocted.

Face masks should again, be worn in Leicester hospitals.

A staff member was telling Mrs. FFF yesterday, how an entire visiting family (whatever happened to just 2 visitors only btw?) refused to do so.

In such circumstances, I think they should be made to leave, no exceptions, leave.

I realise that a singular visitor could, conceivably, be exempt but not several members.

What made this occasion worse, was one of this 'group' was coughing and sputtering during the visit.

Selfish sods.

I was there last week and they insisted on wearing them, but plenty weren't - so it's pointless really.

It could've been for a cultural reason.

Remember working at the LRI and when I had kindly asked a relative to wear a face mask during COVID-19, they said they can't as the "masks itches their face and nose"..
