andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I don't think 1 million is enough anyway, now they are a Prem club they can cough up a bit more, they should offer 2 million IMO.
Maybes Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Cant see Sousa selling to be honest. Not unless ridic money is offered. Like £2m +
ousefox Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Anything above £1m for a 28 year who is on apparently £20k+ would be a great deal IMO. We did fine without him last year and i would much rather we took the money and reduced the wage bill so we can get a couple of very decent players instead.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Has someone taught Dudley the offside rule while he's been away?? He seemed to be struggling somewhat against any back for who worked out he was thick as **** and played any kind of offside trap.

Does anyone know where DJ 'stands' as regards his prosecution for assault ? If we keep him, isn't there a chance that he could be in the 'Big House' for a while ?!
Bryn Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 When they offer £750k they're not going to get him. They're actually pissing me off with their inability to put any kind of transfer expenditure together - what a waste of a PL spot. I appreciate that the sensible thing to do is to invest in infrastructure - it's what I've always said any promoted club should do - but for ****s sake, would a few million really hurt? They could have a bit of fooking ambition.
MikeyT Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I'm actually looking forward to seeing how he starts the new season. Hopefully he has figured the offside rule out by now

Corky Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 expect Holloway to quit around Christmas saying the chairman won't let him make a decent attempt at staying up Before heading back to Plymouth to "finish the job he started". Maybe.
andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I think Blackpool know they probably won't stay up even with 3-4 good signings so they are just going to take the money from being in the Prem for a season and put it towards a stable future. I don't blame them to be honest, I wish they would be a bit more adventurous with their transfer dealings though.
Ozwin Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 It turns my stomach a bit that we're all salivating over DJ now.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I'm actually looking forward to seeing how he starts the new season. Hopefully he has figured the offside rule out by now Its Fryatt who needs to know the offside rule.
wurmer Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 From the looks of the players they are after they no ambition what so ever! looks like Derby's points total could be beat this season <_< I'm betting on 10 points max, and at least -100 goal difference....
Salieri Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Its Fryatt who needs to know the offside rule. Is he gonna be your latest whipping boy? Or is it still Gallagher?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Is he gonna be your latest whipping boy? Or is it still Gallagher? I like to think I am equally critical on the players. I never frequently slagged Gallagher off though, not as much as the likes of McGivern or Neilson anyway.

Nah you just winge whenever we lose, then when we win you're the first to congratulate da boys. Most fickle person on here.
foxoffderby Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 It turns my stomach a bit that we're all salivating over DJ now. Agreed. Im not a fan but I won't slate him either. I give everbody a chance but he needs to prove himself to me in a blue shirt. He's not done that yet. At the moment I would not offer him him a new contract based on his previous performances. If Blackpool offer anywhere near £1.3m + I would accept.
caz05 Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Its Fryatt who needs to know the offside rule. Oh come on youre having a laugh aint ya,what the fook has DJ done in the last 2 seasons,he scores a few goals in pre-season against lower league teams and now hes a god Fickle comes to mind

So me saying Fryatt is always offside has something to do with DJ?
andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Never said he was a God at all. So me saying Fryatt is always offside has something to do with DJ? The thing with Fryatt is... I do like him and I appreciate his goals for us in League 1 but I always get the feeling that he could go off the boil at any time. He is a goalscorer but he doesn't have many exciting attributes, he isn't really good in the air, he's not fast, he's just a good finisher. With DJ hes a decent finisher when he's on form and he is fast. Howard is slow and his finishing isn't the best but his main attribute is his aerial ability.
Bugg Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Howard isn't really a poor finisher, and Fryatt isn't really slow either.
caz05 Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 Never said he was a God at all. So me saying Fryatt is always offside has something to do with DJ? Because when you wrote that quote, you put it on a reply that mikey had written about dj and offside,i think its on the page before, and i didnt mean you personnally saying about DJ being a god,but you must admit most fans have slated the guy over the last 12 months (or more)and because he scores a few goals thier all over him (not all). I will support him if he stays and earns some of the money he has cost, but if he does go i wont lose any sleep over it
