Wellens to Brum

I love how fickle people can be sometimes, where has the loyalty gone in football? Wellens has produced some of the best performances within our team both this season and last. It's the same with people who have now suddenly turned on Dyer (a player who has also been one of our best players this season even though Vassel has been favoured over him).

So what's the plan, sell Wellens and disrupt the midfield/team once again and try and find a player that can make hold his own against players like Vier / De Jong in the next couple of weeks just in time to make a real push for the play-offs? Wake up.

Dyer's average at best, often wasteful, poor finisher, makes bad decisions. Can't fault him for effort tho. Vassell everytime.....

Check out Man City second goal. He made no move toward their player who set up Tevez. Wellens was 10 yards from him when the ball was played to him and 10 yards from him when it was crossed

And look the first goal - Abe should have stayed with Milner. You can pick out everybodys game; from Richie Wellens all the way to Cesc Fabregas.

Agree. Dyer hardly looks interested at certain and like Gallagher, is very lazy.

It also does my head in when he avoids using his right foot like on Sunday when he ran all the way across Man City's area and ended up going knowhere.

This thread has changed from Wellens to another club to a fight about other players as well lol

For a soon to be 31-year old who's never played at a higher level than the Championship???! And even then he's only played in the Champo for 2½ years!

Well I was a bit exaggerative :P But after that performance against Man City, I rate him very highly, no matter what his age. Think he's worth at least 2m.

Wellens has had an up and down season for us (who hasn't) but the point is he is on the up and has the passion and desire we need to get promoted.

We must try desperately to keep him, we have plenty of money in th Kitty for signings, we should only ofload players who are down the pecking order like Morrison was.

Yes we could replace him but some players take a long-time to hit form....time is clearly not something we have!

Richie look what happened to Muzzy when he went to Brum, stay with us and get us promoted and you will be a Leicester legend!!

Oh so you never want a confrontation with me then.

Face it you're always looking for an argument, if I think something's bullshit I will say so. That's my opinion. That doesn't mean I have a personal vendetta against them like you do.

Now if you can resist starting an argument with me I will ignore you. But if you're going to accuse me of things then you're pretty pathetic and I'll let you know about it.

Oh thanks so much for being willing to point out when I'm being pathetic.

I have problems with the love fests or bum fests (as others call it) that many on here have with players.

I have a problem with that then being taken too far and people being abused because they hold a different opinion.

And I haven't had my posts deleted or my my wrists slapped like some on here, and I assume you did as your posts and you disappeared the other week.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I don't agree with a lot of yours but that isn't what makes it personal, it's you getting slightly hysterical in your response to others that makes it personal.

I hope for your sake that you don't act like this when down the pub.

Anyway I'm sure you disagree and will soon let me know.

I support my team just as much as you do, I'm just not as precious about the players as you, why I don't even make friends with them on Facebook.

Great, a good performance against Man City and he's a target already.

I hate football.

That's always the worry though when your team plays well on the telly.

Still sooner that than nobody being targeted because Portsmouth have just stuck 6 past us.

4m for a 30 year old Championship player who doesn't score, you do rate him highly.

Ohh so a player has to score now days to be worth any money??? Get a grip

Posted

So he's worth 4 million is he?

Obviously they don't have to score but as the general consensus, from the more level headed, on here is that they'd take Brums arm off for 1.5m to 2m then for 4m you'd surely expect him to be stumping up at least 10 goals per season. He's never done that in his career.

You've been gripping too much.

Abe tried to keep with him. Wellens made no move! There is a huge difference. Wellens can be lazy, and that is a fact ( oh and before all his brothers and lovers start jumping up and down ) yes he can be workmanlike from time to time. He IS inconsistent, fact!

No please, not more common sense.
