Callabinho Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Good things come to those who wait. We've done plenty of that!
Bert Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Maybes is right. As long as the squad is ready for the the 6th of August we need to all calm down a bit. As for Tanner - Don't think he liked the reaction when hd told about Marlon King to be honest. Yakubu - Very, very much up in the air at the minute. It was said to be all but done, and the "all but done" has come back to bite us on the bum. It could still happen but it's nowhere near as a possibility as it was.... If I hear anything I will let you know as much as I can say.

Tommy G Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Like Rob said - don't expect Tanner (or even stringer) to an extent to tweet about lcfc transfer rumours because despite how they word things people just get abusive. Some "fans" have ruined it for others in that sense..
crisp packet Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 http://mobile.newsnow.co.uk/A/500853714?-11208 Same report nearly as mercury but says going turkey?
JJS84 Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 If the above link is true then the club needs to make Maynard their number one target, and get him. He's the only realistic option that would be as good, if not better than the yak.

Some "fans" have ruined it for others in that sense.. I know Ian Stringer has been out of office recently, so he is most likely on Holiday, so he won't want to be glued to his phone. I imagine he won't release any news untill he knows it for certain. As much as we all want to hear news there is no need to start abusing people over it, it's their job to deliver news and they will in good time!
Callabinho Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Dosent want to drop down? Yakubu Transfer looks off If he stays in the prem or opts to go abroad then I want be annoyed, if he goes somewhere like west ham, then I will be annoyed!
kyleolly Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 If he don't want to come let him rot in Turkey and get in Maynard, Earnshaw or Kamara!
KingDarius Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 If he don't want to come let him rot in Turkey and get in Maynard, Earnshaw or Kamara! Or all 3
kyleolly Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Wherever I'm past caring, yeah all 3 would be great!
Len Finsbury Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Knock Knock Who's there? Yakubu Yakubu who? That's FoxesTalk for you. Amazing how opinions change on the back of rumours.
StanSP Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 If he doesn't want to drop down a division, why are there STILL people talking about him going to West Ham?
Petchy Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 I would still like him to come as he will guarantee us much needed goals and adds firepower to our attack, but I don't want him if he is going to just keep messing the club around. He publicly stated at the end of last season he wanted to come here, and now he says he 'isn't prepared' to play in the Championship? I don't think the 'billy big balls' attitude that is being reflected in the press will do him any favours if he continues to string it out. Either way, I'm sure Sven won't let it get to a point where it becomes ridiculous. Just remember, you were playing in the Championship last season Yak..
Callabinho Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 I still think most of it is just paper talk, how come sky sports and BBC havnt picked these stories up? Usually their onto things in a flash, hence why i think there is little substance in these stories.

MikeyT Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 http://www.whufc.com/articles/20110615/two-new-signings_2236884_2376810 Yak and Nolan? Well Yak said he doesn't want to drop down to the Championship so he's a lying bastard if it does turn out to be him, which i doubt.
lestajigs Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Well Yak said he doesn't want to drop down to the Championship so he's a lying bastard if it does turn out to be him, which i doubt. Yea what a **** if true!! and where the hell is all the cockneys bastards money coming from??? Thought they where short off cash funds!!
lcfcjim Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Well Yak said he doesn't want to drop down to the Championship so he's a lying bastard if it does turn out to be him, which i doubt. In reality, Its all a matter of who could afford the better wages. I dont feel it was a matter of not wanting to drop the devision. But you never know, its not been confirmed yet!
Clarkielcfc Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 like i said in an earlier post... all this about yakubu, is just what people have read, im pretty sure nobody has heard these words come out of yakubu's mouth, saying he wont drop and wages etc etc. its all just rumours! confident we will get him
