kushiro Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Fair play to Martin Samuel here. He prints a whole load of fairly cogent criticisms of his Monday article, and does a fair job standing up for himself. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3585572/MARTIN-SAMUEL-Claudio-Ranieri-miracle-s-set-new-benchmark-finest-performance-coach.html
Foxxed Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 I wish Forest would get promoted, so we could compare football, not history.

indierich06 Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Never forget this golden comment. Think about this quite regularly, especially the 'Cool, good for them, but we're better' line. It was hilarious at the time, but now it's just downright ridiculous! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I was quite chuffed.
Fox Ulike Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 (edited) Whilst I accept 2 european cups is impressive, I quite like this analogy. Oh and yes Liverpool may have been the best team on the planet then, but the top flight wasn't brimming with quality in those days either, if you finished above Liverpool you would win the league a bit like Fergies utd, top them and you tended to end up winners. Oh and it's ARE YOU WATCHING TOTTENHAM nowdays Exactly. Liverpool had an 'off' season that year (in the League). They lost NINE times, including to Birmingham, QPR, Norwich and Coventry.... COVENTRY! It was hardly the all-conquering Liverpool side that the Forest fans like to pretend... Edited 12 May 2016 by Fox Ulike
katieakita Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Hadn't realised that Forest haven't been in the top flight for 17 years. We've been by far the most successful club in the region in the last 2 decades. .The important thing to remind any Forest fan is the fact they have not been in the premier league this century. 1

No wonder we aren't rivals 15

This win just proves his know-how and he deserves better than a champagne shower. Martin mentioned last week that Leicester could not afford to stand still. Well left back seems to be one of their weaker positions. So long Fuchs. RedB, Malta.' Twat

I like Samuals, but agree with your post, he just couldnt let it go... His point on Ranieri might have some ground. BUT Claudio is a football manager, with a group of celebrating footballers, if a guy in europe tries to go over his station, the warrior in us tend to bring him down, Claudio might not of liked his drenching,.....He has to carry that has much has his success. He HAS the players respect....that moment he didnt lose it, he never will, but experienced what winning a title means, from his wards, his own band of Brothers, shown papa a bit of OTT boisterous, for the day of never ending fun.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Samuel comes across as being extremely petulant
Babylon Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Since forest and Derby last won anything, we've won: League One The Championship The Premier League The League Cup x 2. No wonder we aren't rivals And writing this out really really makes me want the FA Cup. 2
Foxxed Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Jesus ****ing Christ. The daily mail is increasing their advertisement clicks/ratings by arguing about an affectionate practical joke. No wonder they have a reputation. Suck the joy out and start an insane petty argument.
HighPeakFox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 It irritates me that Nottingham and Tottenham sound vaguely similar. Or that Forest fans are narcissistic enough to believe we'd bother to chant about them. 1
Rocket-Ron Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Perhaps Fuchs has learnt his lesson over this, and want pour champagne over Claudio when we retain the trophy next year.
Fox Ulike Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 And writing this out really really makes me want the FA Cup. and the Champions League...
lestajigs Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 We're champions, why are we talking about signing mid table teams old age cast offs?Yes your right, let's go for the messi's, Neymar, ronaldo's and aguero's of the world
Koke Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Imagine if we had won the double this season. Only Arsenal, Chelsea & Manchester United have done that in the Premier League era. And they were world class teams with World Cup Winners and Ballon d'Or winners in them.
Finnaldo Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 (edited) .The important thing to remind any Forest fan is the fact they have not been in the premier league this millennium. Fixed. Edited 12 May 2016 by Finnaldo 4
Facecloth Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Yes your right, let's go for the messi's, Neymar, ronaldo's and aguero's of the world Yes, because that's exactly what I was implying

eblair Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Filthyfellas talking about Leicester again including Leon Knight on the ipad again self-entitled nature of that bellend, calling mahrez a **** because he showed no interest in his man child self
TheMightySystem Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 self-entitled nature of that bellend, calling mahrez a **** because he showed no interest in his man child selfMakes me laugh, I remember spencer Owen didn't get on with him as you acted like he couldn't be arsed to do his video. What do these you tubers expect, he is paid to play football not pamper to YouTube. I imagine if you met him for a chat in the street he would gladly stop and have a photo. Just seems a shy guy.
