My point with that article was they are assuming he would come to them over us even before a bid had been accepted.... I agree that Wolves came across as arrogant in that article but to assume that we have got a better chance of being in the prem the season after next and are more likely to stay there is arrogant as well. If he signed for Wolves they could guarantee at least one season in the prem which is more than we can.

He says Wolves think they have got him, which suggests to me that Sven might think differently. Why would Bert not just say 'its looking like Mills is off to Wolves'? Is this just false hope?

Most sought after players are looking for Premiership football and not another move to the Championship so we were always up against it. Think the same will happen with Maynard as well. Irritating but Sven's just got to keep plugging away and the signings will come.
