My favourite thing about the Floyd fight is he actually had a clause that said the guy lost $5m of his take if he kicked Mayweather lol

The fact that there is five million of that take to lose is probably the most embarrassing thing about all of this.

Ive just watched the “fight” and it’s a joke, the guy makes Connor mcgregor look like Wladimir klitschko technique wise and he is literally the size of Antony Crolla. Must of give away at least  two weight divisions and post rehydration looks more like three or four. 2 mins of pure farce in which Mayweather takes the piss.

I just don't understand how there was even that much value in it. I know the Japanese do pay wedge for foreign sports stars but its not like they're completely clueless on boxing just looking for any old spectacle.

Loads of decent Japanese boxers in lower weight classes. I just don't get how this fight even came about.

At first I thought it was going to be MMA and Floyd had specially selected an opponent who was undefeated and might look half decent but that he knew he'd still beat.

But to then fight him boxing rules? I don't get it. Odd.

It’ll have commercial value only reason, similar to the Connor McG fight obviously not quite as lucrative . The money men will have done the sums.

The lads w superstar in japan apparently with some sort of unbeaten record and a reputation for hard punching, so I heard, I don’t follow kick boxing in the slightest so could be bollocks for all I know.

Plus a serious Japanese boxer isn’t going to lower himself to fighting floyd in some four round exhibition  fight void of serious weight restrictions, I’m sure they’d forgo the few mil and retain their self respect.

Congratulations to Floyd on his latest win against a Japanese kick boxer half his size, enjoy the cash Floyd. Odds on next opponents include

Sergio Garcia 5/1

Lionel Messi 3/1

Ronnie O’Sulivan Evans

Rafa Nadal 6/1

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez 5000/1
