MC Prussian Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Probably because managers usually get sacked when they are more than two points off the play offs. Yeah, ridiculous, isn't it?
Babylon Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Yeah, ridiculous, isn't it? Yes and no.... I'm a patient person and even I was starting to doubt the man, and I don't have £20/30/£40 million quid riding on it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Yeah, ridiculous, isn't it? you really are uspet by Sven going aint ya.. He'll be ok mate, I'm sure he'll get another job soon The next manager though has gotta be the right one or this whole thing could implode even further for the record I do think the timing has been shitty
absolutelegend Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 If it's not O'Neill, it has to be Davies. Simples.
Cubbyben Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think Clark has all the tools to do the job. Will he succeed? Foook knows but nobody was sure of Di Mateo until WBA took him now he is a lot of City fans No 1 choice. All that I know about this guy is he will work his butt off and unite the players and fans. That's not bad for starters is it?
RowlattsFox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 This would be a risk, a big one, but could turn out to be a masterstroke. We, as football fans, are often campaigning for younger managers to be given an opportunity. Look at norwich, took a gamble on Lambert who had done nothing special at colchester, and look what happend. I know that doesn't mean it will happen here with Clark as well but id rather a Clark or a Robinson than someone like keane.

But clubs with lower expectations and ambition take the risks on these sorts of managers, not us. Our owners want promotion straight the way, now there's much more chance of an experienced manager with money and pressure being able to do that than there is of a young, untried manager. It's just wreckless, it's not brave and it's not shrewd. I've had enough, i'm going to boozer. My aim is to be mongoled for the game tomorrow as I can't take this any longer.

Libertine Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Hmmm. Not sure about this at all. Normally I'd be chuffed at the prospect, he's been good at Huddersfield but I really can't see it working out here with all the expectation etc if he comes. Too early on for him. Bizarre choice if it happens really.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Think its a good move young manager lots to prove
Dr The Singh Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 BertLcfcBertLcfc Harjinder Singh of JCT, Punjab in talks with LCFC as Clarkes assistance #lcfc Great move Harjinder Singh is quality His profile: He joined JCT as Football Coach in the year 2003. Ricey Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 No thanks... - Too inexperienced. - Yet to really achieve anything concrete. - Doesn't know the division. - Wears scarves too often
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 One thing, may have been mentioned already. It's Lee Clark! Not Clarke Get it right!
Libertine Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Someone will be advising them, the chances are they have never heard of Clarke. So I'm more worried about who they choose to advise them, than their knowledge as I'd already taken it for granted they don't know a huge amount. Maybe it's Andrew Neville, maybe it's an outside source. Who knows. Milan! He's wanting us to take Clark so Wednesday have a better chance of automatic.
SMX11 Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 He is certainly a better option than Keane and Strachan, but he wouldn't be my choice.
Dr The Singh Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 One thing, may have been mentioned already. It's Lee Clark! Not Clarke Get it right! You tell them FSS, also his assistant is HARjinder Singh, not HERjinder SIngh
dannythefox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I thought we were after someone who knows the league and is BETTER than Sven?
whitlock Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Another manager that knows how to get us out this league....
Babylon Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Milan! He's wanting us to take Clark so Wednesday have a better chance of automatic. You joke... the thought has gone through my mind. Who better than uncle Milan
lcfcsnow Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Forgetting the unbeaten record.. he hasn't got out of League 1 in three seasons..
