Clueless fickle fans, he was player of the year last season and is a quality player. Funny how he played really well against Forest and you don't mention it. He is not the cause of all our problems you could list loads of problems and also highlight specific individuals for us dropping points St ledger for his pass to Maynard making it 2-1 to them Mills for the penalty against Forest Mills again for getting sent off at Birmingham and Hull Gallagher / dyer for lack if cover for Peltier when Vaz Te went by him against Barnsley The list goes on and on , I find it hilarious some of the comments by so called fans on here get behind the club ffs and stop looking for a scapegoat. If you are going to slate people back it up or shhhh

If it happens i dont mind too much, not because overall i think hes a bad player but perhaps its time for a change and for us to have someone new bossing the midfield. If this somehow influenced a move for snodgrass even better!

If you are going to slate people back it up or shhhh We have the funds to get better quality in Richie is an average championship player who's best days have long gone, with NP contacts we could get a young player from the prem on loan who would do the business consistently imo.

Cannot see it happening, Wellens is the only midfielder than will get the ball on the floor and play, and we seem to be low on midfielders now Abe seems to have gone, Johnson always unfit, Gelson gone, King injured...

In regards to Wellens I don't understand all the hostility towards him to be honest. The guy has one bad half season and all of a sudden he is the devil in disguise. He obviously is still a great player and although I do agree the midfield needs strengthening I think people should stop being so fickle and support one of our players.

Wellens may be better off there anyway, our 'fans' are arseholes & we've only played in an organised fashion with movement once in months, which a passing player needs & he excelled in & before that we played a formation which made the midfield easily over-ran. Drinkwater can't replace Abe, Wellens & injured king
