Vissel Kobe are also owned by Rakuten, club sponsor of Barcelona.

I'm sure this is no coincidence!

It's believed to be the reason yes but the Japanese domestic league is as strong as they come in Asia and their fans are pretty incredible.

KFC Uerdingen now officially promoted to the 3. Liga in Germany! :appl: The DFB has given the green light on Monday evening, even though the club had missed the official deadline to present the financial securities needed for a license.

They'll have to play their home games in Duisburg, though.

Also, their president and owner, Mikhail Ponomarev (white shirt, obviously), is a Russian millionaire with some shady business dealings - and an AFC Bournemouth connection:

Nobody can really tell where the money's coming from. lol

Hope all goes well for Uerdingen in the new division.

Troubles in sight for both Parma FC and Nîmes Olympique - both teams, each promoted to its country's top tier a few weeks ago, are accused of fixing matches.

In the case of Parma, the eyes are on two of their players who were in contact with La Spezia opponents by SMS, instructing them to "lift their legs" for the decisive Serie B match that saw the club return to Italy's top flight.

Nîmes representatives, meanwhile, face charges of corruption with regards to allegedly fixed matches in the 2013-2014 season, particularly a match between Caen and Nîmes that allowed the Normandy club to gain promotion and prevented Nîmes from being relegated from Ligue 2.

The Crocos' upcoming League 1 campaign, the first in 25 years, should not be put in jeopardy by the ruling which is expected in mid-September, anyway.

Chris Coleman appointed as manager in China.

Looking at his CV, not sure what he's done really to deserve the mass amount of money that he'll receive over there to be honest.

There’s also suggestions of investigation into Huesca, promoted to La Liga next season.

After being promoted they lost their next game to Gimnastic. Huge sums of money were placed on the game from locations such as Ukraine. 30 bookmakers suspended betting on it in reaction

PSG need to sell £60m worth of players this summer in order to meet FFP rules.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44474415

Who'll be the first to be forced to leave? And which player would serve us well (hypothetically)?

Neymar

Cavani

Di Maria

Rabiot

Lo Celso

Silva

Marquinhos

Dani Alves

Meunier

Kurzawa

Trapp

I'd take Di Maria and/or Lo Celso, plus Kurzawa. :D

Surely it's all about Neymar leaving for Real for £££££££ and they'll be all good again.

Lo Celso is one of Argentina's up and coming stars. They won't sell him.

Could expect Meunier, Kurzawa, Pastore and maybe Di Maria to go. They've still got Krychowiak & Ben Arfa on their books which can contribute to the £60m required...

Ben Arfa is a free agent now

Regards psg, they're a bit like Chelsea. Remember they can probably offload about 30 youngsters at a mil or two each to clubs like Nantes, Lille, Toulouse etc and make quite a lot back at short notice.

The idea they'd need some vast asset stripping exercise is probably ott.

They knew what they were getting in to with Mbappe and Neymar, I'm sure they've had lawyers and accountants looking at it all year working out a strategy.

Also, would NOT buying Mbappe solve their FFP issue?

Clearly that's not going to happen. They'd rather miss CL for a season.

But it's also possibly not optional. Is the purchase mandatory? I thought it was already agreed, they WILL pay as opposed to they have an option to?

Griezmann is such a drama queen. Has an entire TV show this evening (specially filmed at his house) dedicated to announcing whether he's decided to stay at Atletico or leave. lol

Been there, seen that.

Hopefully this will go over about as well.

yeah it were mandatory, i think it was only a loan because they'd have failed FFP if it went through at the same time as Neymar

Not necassarily anything in it. We remember our performance against Brighton, Gimnastic were in the relegation zone or certainly in trouble of relegation at that stage too.

The betting markets took huge bets from all over the world. The prices jumped out to incredibly high.

If they're looking at it then they must know something so fair enough, I think I remember though Huesca were just about odds on for that match, a match like I said was a dead rubber for Huesca and meant a lot more for Gimnastic.
