I support Leicester when we play, and England when we play.

Up to this date they're yet to compete against each other so it's sound so far :D

I did that with Rugby until Tigers played Englad in a Testimonial for Rory Underwood, I didn't know who to support in that one.

Club - to the point that if there are City players in a national team playing against England, I might even be wanting that team to win (depending on the importance of the game.)

For me it feels 10 times worse when city loose a big playoff game, Cardiff example, then England losing a world cup or euros match , think we should have a poll on this

Always has been club for me.

I genuinely take little interest anymore in International Football.

Sure I'll watch the Euros and will get excited if England progress but I'd have been more happy to see City in the top two this season.

The whole thing has left me feeling very flat this year if truth be told because not even making the play offs is a disgrace IMO.

I don't know how anyone can 'support' a 'team' that put the country through the shambles of 2010.

And anyone who says country over club needs a good old fashioned roundhouse kick to the face.

Club, by a mile.

I'd rather Leicester win the League Cup than England win the World Cup.

I don't know why, but I just can't get attached to England at all. Whereas with Leicester City they're like a bloody family member.

Club.

Don't get me wrong in the summer i'll be on the England bandwagon, I love a good international tournament, but tbh I can take it or leave it when it comes to England, especially bloody friendlies.

Club. I'd rather see Leicester get promoted (stay up and win trophies etc) than England win a trophy.

Plus, half, if not all, of the England team don't seem to care. I look back at the World Cup Winning team in 1966 and see that the players were so proud to play for their Country, where as I don't see that now.

Tough question. I'd probably say Leicester, just, but it's very close.

Saying that, I'd rather spend my money watching England away then on Leicester games all day long. Much more fun getting lashed up in a foreign city all day than in Doncaster or somewhere similar. You have 3 or 4 days of it, on holiday, and the football is such an insignificant part.

Roll on Kiev.

As a Leicester fan that went to the Blackburn, Swindon, Derby and Crystal Palace playoff finals. League cup finals against Middlesborough, Tranmere and Tottenham and a season ticket holder until about 2002 I can quite frankly say that Englands run in Euro 96 gave me more pleasure and heartbreak than anything Leicester have done since. I've largely turned into a casual arm chair fan with a favourtism towards Leicester since this time. The introduction of Sky TV can be largely blamed for this.

Anyhow, I think a large proportion of the younger generation on this forum won't remember Euro 96 so won't recall how the media actualy got behind the team. Unfortunately since then the national team has been largely poor.

I'd love to see an England world cup win in my lifetime, altough I doubt we'll ever get anywhere near!

Leicester winning unites a group of fans following a small team.

England winning unites an entire nation.

Yep agree 100% - seriously couldn't give two hoots for England.

I think Euro '96* was the last time I really enjoyed watching England. The best England team in lifetime, in my opinion. Absolutely great tournament.

But even back then, there were only secondary to Leicester for me.

* That's just reminded me of when I saw Stuart Pearce in the Orange Tree in Loughborough back in about 2000. My mate went up to him and told him 'I loved you in Euro '96!'
