BstarFox Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Many of us will feel disapointed with that performance but i for one am proud of the team the spirit we shown in that second half was brilliant i feel there was alot of positives and that COYB!!!
Charl91 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Win one, lost one. Good old leicester, so predictable. I'm putting money on us winning the next one.
Frost Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Really annoyed at this. Should've at least got a point. Knoackaert & King need to start next game. Dyer & James to be dropped. Gotta move on. No point dwelling too much on this result, games come thick and fast and we've got a chance to put it right on Saturday.
cc_star Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Disappointing to put in a first half like that... again! Encouraging we made the changes at half-time to give ourselves the performance needed to give ourselves a chance, but it wasn't to be no shots on target in the whole of the first half & unlucky in the second. Bring on Blackburn!
lestajigs Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Yes it is only the second game of the season, but come on, same old same old, losing away to who!! And how Many chances do we ****ing need in these kind of games!!! Pissed off
foxesfan1989 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Same pattern as always. Awful first half by the sounds of it, much better second but no finish. Bad defensively first half, bad finishing second half. Still, early doors! Bags of time to establish a different pattern to win lose win lose.
Suffolk_fox Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Lots of spirit and we're still 3rd, so mustn't grumble too much. I think we'll do ok, even the mighty Man Utd have hiccups (see Everton)
Guest shearfox Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Damage was done in the first half, left way too much to do, no good starting to play when you are already two down. Only the second league game of the season though so there is a long way to go still, but we need to start games much better.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Its okay we're still in a play-off spot!
Tom17LCFC Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 On the positive side, Kingy's back to his old self, Knockaert sounded good when he came on, Vardy and Nuge created plenty of chances. Not the end of the world.
Guest parky0607 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 We could / should have done better, but Charlton away was always going to be a tough game. At least this will allow other players their chance to show us what they can do, and we did show fight in the second half so there are some positives to take away. Lets move on ... its a marathon , not a sprint
Kitchandro Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Same old story in away games. Wasting a hatful of easy chances. Giving away soft goals (especially in the first half) and giving ourselves a mountain to climb. Dyer letting us down again. (I've said it before and I'll say it again, whilst he's in the starting 11 we haven't got a hope of promotion). People saying they're proud because we pulled one fvcking goal back in the second half when we'd already fvcked up. Defence needs sorting out, we need shooting practice (or another striker) and we need to be rid of players who have proved not be up to the acceptable standard.
EnderbyFox Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 King and Knockaert sounded like they were making it happen, gotta start on Saturday
foxesfan1989 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 The one positive is Andy King. He should start the next match along with Danns. Give the midfield some steel.
Babylon Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Made a decent fist of it but we shouldn't be putting ourselves into that position in the first place. Not all doom and gloom, don't think any team has managed two wins from the first two games and I think the league will carry on like this with everyone dropping points.
Daggers Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Throughout the L1 season we saw Pearson sides which always dibbed out of the first 45 minutes and then put in a shift during the second 45. Throughout his following season we saw the same thing coupled with us being out-muscled. Last season we saw rank inconsistency. This season? Too early to say but my money is on more of the same.
pSinatra Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 1 point off automatic promotion.......keep the Optimistic Bus ticking over!! Was always going to be a difficult start to the season........win the home games, maybe grab a few points away?
Number 6 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Have any teams won their first two? It's a tough league, anyone can beat anyone, and Charlton are a decent side.
tylesta Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Team for saturday kasper moore da leat morgan konch drinkwater king knocky marshall nugent becks
DorsetFox9 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 same sort of performance as last season. not got much hope. and as for Vardy, i think we know why he has been in the lower leagues all his career. Andy King is looking fairly good though.
adam Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Why isnt Danns getting a chance. Performed well towards end of last season. Has person had another bust up with someone?
acooling08 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Really annoyed at this. Should've at least got a point. Knoackaert & King need to start next game. Dyer & James to be dropped. Gotta move on. No point dwelling too much on this result, games come thick and fast and we've got a chance to put it right on Saturday. This definitely.
