Bilbo Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 I think we should stick with the same team set-up for Blackpool. Wolves away isn't an easy match and the fact that our away form hasn't been great so far I'd settle for a point.
foxesfan1989 Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 My team: Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Konch Marshall King Danns Knocky Vardy Futacs Subs: Logan, SSL, Whitbread, Drinky, Dyer, Beckford, Nugent But Nige will play the same team as Blackpool if he can. Bilbo Posted 10 September 2012 Author Share Posted 10 September 2012 Isn't there already a thread for this? But same starting 11 that faced blackpool for me I think that thread was just asking whether it was on TV or not, this one is for team selection, score predictions etc.
Fox92 Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 There is another thread but that was so early considering it was started about an hour after the Blackpool game. I'd give Knockaert a go ahead of Dyer, bring De Laet back and set up differently to start the game. This is my 4-2-3-1 idea which I've posted a couple of times, offering the balance between defence and attack, especially for away games. Marshall is playing behind, with Vardy wide left because of his workrate, pace and ability to beat defenders and create opportunities. Kasper De Laet -- Morgan -- Moore -- Konchesky King -- Drinkwater Knockaert -- Marshall -- Vardy Nugent Subs: St Ledger, James, Danns, Dyer, Schlupp Beckford, Futacs

Bilbo Posted 10 September 2012 Author Share Posted 10 September 2012 We've been playing very good away! just unfortunate I understand that but we've lost both matches so on that judgement it shows we have struggled to win, for whatever reason, away from home. Jace Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 2 of my best mates are Wolves fans they never let me forget the time I gobbed off down the phone at them when we were 3-0 up at half time at Molineux, they couldn't get hold of me for weeks after the match
Dan LCFC Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 Schmeichel De Laet - Morgan © - Moore - Konchesy Knockaert - King - Drinwater - Marshall Nugent - Vardy Subs; Logan, Whitbread, Schlupp, Danns, Dyer, Futacs, Beckford Sadly, 2-0 loss. Just not got a good feeling about this game at all.
Kitchandro Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 Can see a loss here sadly. Wolves in need of a pick me up and last season is still fresh in the mind where we didn't win 2 in a row til March. We concede too many sloppy goals away and there always seems to be a hard luck story. If we take the game to them like we did against Blackpool we can win but we must be more clinical in the final 3rd.
MattyFromLE Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 Why some people are saying Dann's for a start I don't know. He's looked extremely poor and off-pace when I've seen him this season, however was very effective last season. Can't look past Kingy and Drinkwater in the middle. Captain... Posted 10 September 2012 Share Posted 10 September 2012 Same team for me knocky will start against Burnley, tough away game is not the best place to make your first league start easy home tie is. Only possible change is whitbread in for Moore, but again I think more likely for the burnley game expect him to be on the bench and come on at some point if we are struggling at the back. I think we'll win but then I always do, wolves have done little yet to suggest they will be a force this season, no idea who their manager is, lost some decent players over the summer. chris_lcfc_85 Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Has to be same team as Blackpool surely? Why people would take Drinkwater out, god only knows!! I would like to see Knockaert start a few games but i feel Dyer/Marshall have earned the right to play again
Ric Flair Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 This will be a 1-1 draw. I'd be tempted to start Futacs and another central midfielder as we're too easy to pick off away from home, but Nigel will stick with 4-4-2. I'd like to see Schmeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky Drinkwater King James Marshall Futacs Knockaert/Vardy Subs: Nugent, Beckford, Dyer, Whitbread, Logan, Vardy/Knockaert, SSL

davieG Posted 12 September 2012 Share Posted 12 September 2012 I suspect St Ledger will be the CB sub as he's now completed 2 90 minute games for the Irish with Whitbread will probably be playing for the U21s on Friday night.
