kingfox Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 In other transfer news, Aston Villa are considering a move for £3m-rated Maribor striker Robert Beric , the Sun claims, while the Mail reports that Arsenal are considering a move for Burnley's 23-year-old striker Charlie Austin. That's two off the list then Well it's paper talk again. However Charlie Austin with the form he is in, will definitely not go to another Championship club in my opinion, he should be off to the Premier League in January or the summer for sure. Also are people sure they don't want this legend?

ACF Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 How about we put Knockaert up with Nugent? Marshall and Dyer/Lingard on the wings? The Guingamp fan who posted on here just after we signed him reckoned he was best used as a CF.

DanTheFox07 Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 One of todays papers linking Arsenal with a move for Austin too Not a Great shock top scorer in the world at the moment, when someone has scored more than messi and ronaldo you take notice!

muzzy1981 Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 I actually think Vardy given more time might start to bang them in and Waggy sounds like he's starting to hit form, all beit without the goals to show yet. Question is can we afford to wait for players to hit form. Would quite like to see a shrewd Borini type loan signing like Swansea made on the promotion season. Maybe Wickham, Man U must have someone thought that Will Keane is meant to be the dogs?

indierich06 Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 Think Keane is currently out injured, long term as well Think he's back around Christmas time, could be an option for the Jan transfer window.
Corky Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 One of todays papers linking Arsenal with a move for Austin too Got Francis Jeffers written all over it if it happens.
CosbehFox Posted 9 November 2012 Posted 9 November 2012 Give the current squad till January. I'd rather make a well-scouted, affordable permanent transfer in January than a loan punt considering we have lots of strikers.
Matt Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 No more strikers, we need goalscorers :banghead:
Yuki! Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Knockaert He's about 5'6 his hold up play and heading ability isn't great really. The way Knockaert plays reminds me a bit of Saurez, i reckon he mazy dribbling would be a big threat up front!
Bugg Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Get it done NIGE. People can say what they want about the SPL, but his scoring record at Hibs is brilliant for a player of his age. I doubt Wolves will sell him on the cheap to us though.
Happy Fox Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Hopefully Nugent isn't out for too long if he is we need a goalscorer simple as, Waghorn couldn't hit a barndoor despite the fact his all round game has got better.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 People can say what they want about the SPL, but his scoring record at Hibs is brilliant for a player of his age. I doubt Wolves will sell him on the cheap to us though. I watch a bit of Jock football - the chaps on their equivalent of MOTD (SportsScene), were saying Wolves value him at 250k. I doubt there's any credibility in that and (as you've pointed out) their asking price to us would probably be a touch over what he's currently worth (given our backing and that we're in the same league as Wolves), but there's huge potential there. I think the guy's class, he's an arrogant bellend who winds opposition fans up. Would love him here.
inckley fox Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 He's about 5'6 his hold up play and heading ability isn't great really. Could be our Messi!
Danno Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Knockaert The way Knockaert plays reminds me a bit of Saurez, i reckon he mazy dribbling would be a big threat up front! What giving the ball away al the time? He's not fit to lace Suarez's boots
FrankieADZ Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 We really really need someone. have to agree with you there....its just thinking who...there availability and whether or not we'd be able to tempt them.
i luv u foxes Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 beckford scored again today and scoring plenty for huddersfield and is our player
MGLCFC Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Beccio is only on the bench for Leeds - always thought he was good for 15 to 20 goals a season and he's actually good in the air
Mark_w Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Get Beckford Back! Beckford doesn't want to come back, I thought Pearson had made that quite clear?
