Blackburn pre-match chinfest

Recommended Posts

Because on present form it is beyond us.

And on the form we had over the first 6 games of the season finishing in the top two was beyond us... then we went 7 unbeaten and went 2nd.

Then we had a run of bad form which meant the top two looked beyond us, then we won 5 on the trot and went 2nd.

Do you see a pattern emerging?

In this league writing off your chances because you are going through a bad spell is ridiculous. If Wood had converted that penno, Watford would only have got one point more than us over the last 6 games than. That's how close it is.

Humped. season over. Pearson out. Bottle crashed. 0 win in 5. Total joke.

The total joke... is you.

Blackburn are draw specialists & in Rhodes they have the talent to snatch it.

With support like your I'd predict a shit atmosphere for the players to try & perform in. I'd predict the players will be snatching at passes therefore not carving a defensive side open, I'd predict chances to be snatched at leaving the game in Blackburn's lap if they hit us on the break.

More than ever the team need support, but people like you just aren't up to it - and then moan because the manager or players aren't up to it when a contributory reason for that is shit awful supporters who've forgotten how to support throughout the match & save all their moans & negativity for afterwards.

There's a reason the players always praise the away support regardless of the result and that's because the away support is fecking awesome, you could hear it at Blackpool on Saturday pouring out of the radio, whereas at the KP? It doesn't help players at all - It's counter-productive to getting the results the 'supporters' want.

Anyway, I just hope our players have learned from last week when Charlton, much like Cardiff did a job on us & they don't allow Blackburn to do that same job.

Not sure anyone has said, but commentary is on 5Live Sports Extra for anyone who can't go and doesn't want to put up with Stringer & Young.

Great news, will be able to listen online then as I don't get RL.

Bourne reminded us just how bad Stringer is at conveying what's happening on the pitch.

Still sticking with my 1-1 draw, but hopefully some players find form and Pearson plays a side like this.

Schmeichel

De Laet - Morgan - Whitbread/St Ledger - Konchesky

Knockaert - King - Drinkwater - Dyer

Wood - Kane

Subs - Logan, Keane, James, Marshall, Gallagher, Waghorn, Nugent

Hopefully St Ledger or Whitbread starts, and James and Waghorn are back in the squad.

All I am saying is in terms of second spot it is over. But we have the playoffs to look forward too, as soon as the second spot is beyond us which if we lose tonight will be.

The thing is, if it was us in second and Watford were in our position, I bet you'd be banging on about how we've got to watch out for Watford because they're dangerous and if they win their games in hand they'll be within touching distance.

We kept a clean sheet on Saturday, would be surprised if he changed the back 4.

Agreed - my mate is a Watford fan as is quite worried that we have games in hand over them. Depends which way you look at it.

I know, but before that we conceded six goals in three games.

I don't think Keane has been particularly great recently, and especially being up against Jordan Rhodes tonight, it might prove difficult for him.

everybody was.

Even in the forth or fifth games of our 5 in a row, all people were saying is that we need to watch out for Watford.

Seems only the destination is important these days, no one can enjoy the roller-coaster on the way any more.
