Brighton post match whatevers

Kane has never put any effort into defending when placed on the wing. If he was bringing anyone on it should have been Knockaert who has proved recently that he has a cracking work rate. Kane was at fault for their goal because he just let cross come in from their right hand side without pressuring the man. Wood I don't really have problem with but bringing 2 strikers on is not a great idea.

So Kane is at fault even though there are perhaps 3 or 4 people more at fault than him. I can only presume you blame Kane because he came on as sub and it is en vogue to try and blame every Pearson decision on something going wrong.

Spoke to a few Albion fans regarding wood...mardy twat who likes the ladies and a night out far too often was the feedback, they were glad to get rid. .marginally more popular than odemwingie by the sound of it!!

21 year old lad likes chasing the ladies shocker.

It'd stop everyone moaning for one.

When I said lighten up you miserable bastards, I had you in mind after some of your comments today. Something wrong? :kissing:

Oh, and if you're gonna leave the forum, just go. It's getting a bit tedious you coming back every week with a new name.

I'm not really concerned with what you find tedious. I find our constant under performance under NP tedious. I'm sure NP is not bothered by that, either.

Really, i thought Schlupp was still looking like he had plenty of running left in him to me, and was looking quite sharp!

I'm sure it was Schlupp who set up and played a part in most of our chances in the first half?

The boy did good.

so many wind up merchants on this thread...everyone saying another shit performance etc needs to sort their life out. If we had won 1-0 and LuaLua's shot had hit the post you would all be cheering and in a joyful mood. But no because it went in Pearson and the team is inept and shit...pathetic mentality.

IF

Only 2 letters but such a big word in a sentence.

But it is important enough to you to interfere with the manager discussion occasionally? Playing your little mind-tricks on here, are you?

Blimey, you do have an agenda. And it's not a pretty one.

****ing hell you're mad.

"Interfere with the manager discussion." Football is a hobby. I like to talk about it and discuss the issues. I discuss many things in life. I don't think they're all of vital importance.

What mind tricks? I genuinely have no idea what you're referring to. What a paranoid person. I have no agenda. I think Pearson should be sacked. But does it make any important difference to me whatever happens? Of course it doesn't. My relationship and paying the bills matter, a football manager having a job doesn't.

You sound like Hitler before Kristallnacht, you big mentalist you.

- Promising performance considering our run

- Wood and Kane on didn't really make a difference - but Schlupp and Nugent had ran themselves into the ground, if we'd left them on we would have just been putting 11 behind the ball from then until the end of the game

- Kane is useless though - not skill, no touch, no interest

People can talk all they want about us taking our chances, but what's equally worrying is our complete inability to close a game out with 10 minutes or less left to go. We must be the most honest team in the league, everyone else knows how to run the clock down, waste time, wind up the opposition and play the ref. Not only do we not know how to do any of it, but the players clearly don't even try to do any of it. I don't want us to cheat or become a 'Warnock' team, but it's a case of if you can't beat them, join them - and is it really worth a place in the PL?

In the last 10 minutes, we took a throw in long, Kane smashed a kick into the wall, we took corners long and the freekick after Wood got chopped quickly. WTF? Why? Why weren't all of those just tapped to an adjacent player? Retain possesion. Play it in the corners. It's quite simple.

And the goal was more Drinkwater's fault than Kanes. Plus I don't know why more players than just RDL weren't fighting for their lives to close down LuaLua. Madness.

I've not abused anybody. Show me an abusive post?

You just don't like the truth. Which is fine, but don't get angry at those who deal in truth and reality.

I'm sure your dream world is lovely, mind.

You're deluded. How many accounts have you created already in the past few years?

Wind-up merchant of the highest order.

I still fail to grasp where you find the pleasure for being so fickle yourself.

Much better performance..

But ANOTHER late one conceded!

What the fook does Pearson see in Kane? I see nothing whatsoever.

However, well done today City. Could be a big point that.

I don't either but I remember loads of people on here saying we should sign him when we were after him in the summer and saying he was a good signing when we eventually got him.

This was the same from a lot of people with Vardy, Futacs and Whitbread who was supposedly going to be a great signing for us.

Yet here we are and all of them have been proven to be awful

Why would that shut everyone up? It wouldn't make this run of form good enough.

More just shows how fickle you are.

Today's display was 10 times that of recent, which was being said upto the point where we conceded. Then suddenly we were shit and won't get in the play offs despite the hard games those above us have got, while we have a home game against Brum.

That seems more fickle to me.

Well I, for one, am glad that your bet didn't come through...

Good for you, I'm glad you're happy. I only put a tenner on. I won't be crying about it.

People blaming Kane, the guy had the most of probably 20 minutes to get into the game. He can't be blamed for the result.

If it didn't matter why discussing it on a football forum?

Calling me a "mentalist" when enough people know me for my mostly reasoned behaviour and you're the one with the great contradictions. lol

Do you even know the meaning of the word 'fickle'?

I don't rate NP. I want him out. If I was fickle, I'd change my tune on that all the time, which I have not, once. I'm unswerving in my criticism and my convictions and concerns have played out as I thought they would.

And that's why you only signed up yesterday after you've known your truth for oh so long.

If you're the messiah, let me tell you that I'm not religious.

People blaming Wood too, a joke! Wood was running through on goal and King rather than play a simple through ball decided to sky it. Kane actually ran it up to the byline probably as was asked by Pearson and was successful a few times at putting crosses in. Infact the commentator even praised Kane's performance on the online stream!

Yeh 1-1 is dissapointing considering but surely there is a difference between dissapointment and the anger experienced at Barnsley. We were decent today and if we play like this on Friday we could be looking a whole lot better.

Eh? Brighton have Poyet and we have Pearson and yet Brightn aren't walking away with three points. As much as I'm not a fan of Pearson, Poyet hasn't achieved any more than he has. It's a league one title for each, isn't it? Wth Poyet never having broken into the play off places in this league.

I was more impressed with Poyets decisions than Pearsons. For what it's worth i think man for man we are a better team than Brighton and we looked better for most of the match yet with the lack of organisation at the end we managed to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory. I don't think Poyet's the best manager in the world but we would not be too bad off with a manager that likes to play with the football on the ground and can assess threats abit quicker.

I agree with GingerrrFox - 1-0 up with 20 minutes to go, any other manager in the Football League would have taken off two strikers, and replaced at least one of them with a defender. I wonder if Martin O'Neill would be interested in re-joining, now that he is out of work? Pearson has lost the plot.
