Players for next season, Who do want, Who's free?

Steve Harper "open to offers".

Would he be that good reserve keeper we could do with?

Thought he was retiring?

I like the sound of Palacios and Izzaguirre and both Honduran! I'd also like to see Baptiste,Jerome Thomas and Ebanks Blake!

Heard on Twitter that Hull has came in for Baptiste and Forest for EB

Van Aanholt currently on loan at Vitesse from Chelsea, with them being linked with "10mil rated left back Luke Shaw from Saints" surely pushes him further back in the pecking order?, J.Thomas and definitely an offer for SEB, a proven championship striker. seeing as were not gonna be splashing the cash he'd chip in with a fair few.

Didn't he spent a spell here couple of seasons back?

Danny Fox from Southampton. Haven't seen him in their first-team for a while.

Absolutely beautiful left peg. He had a ridiculous amount of assists for Saints last season, would be a good signing.

Jernade Meade surprisingly released by Arsenal and a host of clubs from the Premier League down to league 1 are looking at him! Surely we must be one of those teams??

izaguirre is a great shout who ever that was, we have the money, just imagine him and wanyama in a city shirt, what dreams are made of.

He'd be about 2.5 mill he doesn't really play often

Is Steve Harper retiring or just leaving Newcastle? If the latter, would be a great shout as a player/coach, great influence on the younger players and a none too shabby back up keeper.

Like I said before.

League 1 & 2 is the place too look.

We need to go down Aston Villa's route, as we won't be able to afford "big names" and big wages.

watford got troy deeney for something like 250,000 from walsall ,so it shows there are players out there in the lower leagues

Simeon Jackson and Elliot Ward both released by Norwich.

Simeon Jackson, released? I've always liked him as a player. Seems to have a knack for scoring late goals too.

3.) His ban means, I believe, he can't play any domestic game for any English club (that's why QPR's Joey Barton moved abroad earlier this season- as is was able to play in the French league; as this league isn't controlled by the English FA, the football assiociation that banned Barton for 12 games).

Barton wasn't able to play in the league/cup in France either, only played in european games during ban.

Noel Hunt from Reading is a decent striker too. Only 30, has a great work rate and scores goals too, released yesterday.

Richard Dunne and Shay Given both being moved on by Villa. Imagine Morgan and Dunne at the back :pearson:

Wouldn't be bad we could of load Dunne IF we get prem but if Kasper stays Given wont want to sit on the bench

They're also getting rid of Dunne because he's one of the highest earners at the club.

Ake from Chelsea would be immense on loan for a season. Right on the brink of the Chelsea first 11 imo

Also if Kasper leaves I wouldn't mind seeing us go for Al Habsi fom Wigan
