Guest MattP Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Any striker who goes to Chelsea does shit. They play a ugly style of football that requires a Drogba style front man, they ruined Shevchenko and they ruined Torres. Put Torres up front for Liverpool or Arsenal and I think he would return to something like his old self.
Grandad. Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Now that is a striker I would happily have at Liverpool.
Leicesterpool Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Hernandez to Villa lol Not going to happen in a million years!
Harry - LCFC Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Norwich fans hijacking the vote for player of the season because the players haven't been good enough in their view. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2616834/Carlo-Nash-favourite-Norwich-Citys-Player-Season-despite-not-playing-game-fans-hijack-voting-system.html I mean really, who the fvck do they think they are? Who are they to say their club is too big, too good to be relegated?! Who are they to say the Championship is below them?

Got nothing against Norwich either, always had a good fanbase.
Super_horns Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 I remember in their Premier league season Derby gave it to the fans...

They are absolutely appalling away from home (should they lose this weekend, 15 defeats and just 8 points taken from away games) and barely score a goal a game.

I'm just saying it's unjustified. A relegation season in the Premiership is far from outrageous. I'm not interested in trivial matters like goals scored, number of points is what matters and their total is not disgraceful for a club of their size.

But they're still in the relegation zone, they haven't got enough points and the fans aren't happy with consistently bad performances though.
Harry - LCFC Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 But they're still in the relegation zone, they haven't got enough points and the fans aren't happy with consistently bad performances though. I'm not saying they should be content with the situation. I'm saying that their demonstration of anger is too much, that their reaction is over the top. Being angry and being unsatisfied are two different things. To be angry at your team they have to have produced something you find truly unacceptable.
Corky Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Too much? They've hijacked and messed up the player of the season poll, not done something truly disgraceful.
Fox92 Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 I remember in their Premier league season Derby gave it to the fans... That's a fair gesture to be honest.
One Legged Beaver Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 In fairness none of their players have shown anything to be worthy of player of the season, just about all of them have been awful.

Put Torres up front for Liverpool or Arsenal and I think he would return to something like his old self. One of the best strikers they had was Hernan Crespo and they just kept loaning him out. Agree with Torres maybe he just needs a fresh start. Arsenal wouldn't be a bad move for him.

Brown Fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27253371 Newcastle fans planning a mass walkout at 69th minute in protest against Ashley! Pretty mad if this happens!
MC Prussian Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Fulham and Cardiff likely to go down now... Only a few more minutes to go.
Fox92 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Cardiff and Fulham both 3 down so if Sunderland can hang on both of those are down.
AKCJ Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Yaya Toure is properly world class. Another awesome performance.
Finnegan Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Wtf are Everton fans singing that sounds like the Steve Gerrard Gerrard song?
