pSinatra Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Aged 16, we sent our really tall mate into the video shop to get a bongo vid. They sold it to him. Fvckin BetaMax. Then later when we did get a full-on scud video on VHS, it was so softcore, you didn't even see any fur, let alone trains and tunnels. And the dialogue (not that there was much) was dubbed about 3 seconds late... There's millions of kids around the country with exactly the same story!! Thousands of teenage boys sitting awake until 2am to see Joan Collins on a swing!!? Britain's attitude to sex has always been lame........like it's something to be ashamed of. All the good stuff came from overseas - especially Scandanavia & Germany. I wouldn't have a clue, but it would be interesting see any facts relating to the availability of porn against the number of sexual offences committed in said country?
Kitchandro Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Has anyone considered that a rapist would be less horny if he could just have a wank over some hot nasty babes? I put it to you that porn is a deterrent!
MooseBreath Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 You've only got to look at the muslim peado gangs to see how a sexually conservative culture can generate disgusting debased deviancy.
ADK Posted 24 July 2013 Author Posted 24 July 2013 You don't even need to look at muslims, just look back to the recent past in this country.
MPH Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Has anyone considered that a rapist would be less horny if he could just have a wank over some hot nasty babes? I put it to you that porn is a deterrent! I'm glad the 'therepy' has helped you...
Rincewind Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Has anyone considered that a rapist would be less horny if he could just have a wank over some hot nasty babes? I put it to you that porn is a deterrent! Has anyone considered that it is not the desire for sex but the power over the victim and for some they are inadequate in that department? Does not excuse it of course. I am not qualified to go into details so agreeing to chopping their genitalia off will have to suffice.

I hate to contradict you Ken, but the only thing stopping me from nipping down the local playground for a bit of talent-seeking is the presence of readily available child pornography, so if the big C has his way I'll be forced to go back to molesting kids again. Your move, David.
Tielemans63 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Has anyone considered that a rapist would be less horny if he could just have a wank over some hot nasty babes? I put it to you that porn is a deterrent! Agree 100%. I also agree with Moosey's point so I'm off for a cold shower. I think a big factor in all of this is Dave Cameron wanting to show his party and it's followers that he does actually have some conservative policies and the balls to implement them. I think some Tories were seriously questioning him over the gay marriage debate and he was beginning to look like another centre left/right (whats the difference?) softie. Maybe this is a quick(ish) win for him?
whitlock Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Slightly contradicting that the biggest wan*er in the country wants to ban porn!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 shock. I love how you think without this restriction everyone's kid will be watching hardcore porn. Where did I say that? Let's make it simple for you. One child watching porn, is one child too many, You may well not agree.
Charl91 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Where did I say that? Let's make it simple for you. One child watching porn, is one child too many, You may well not agree. So why wouldn't you just put a filter on your computer? Hypothetically, why are you letting your child have access to porn? Because there's easy ways to stop it already. You're not really answering the question here.
Zingari Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I thought the Tory party always liked to portray itself as being against all this "leftie nanny state" stuff .
Kitchandro Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Where did I say that? Let's make it simple for you. One child watching porn, is one child too many, You may well not agree. One man not watching porn, is one man too few.

It needs to be dealt with so that no child can access it at all, despite what their parents do, or not do. I believe that actually does answer the question.
Parafox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I thought the Tory party always liked to portray itself as being against all this "leftie nanny state" stuff . Whilst watching porn, my nanny used her righty on me. I was in a state.

Well why not just automatically cut off the signal to all televisions after 9pm unless you opt into late-night viewing just in case heaven-forbid there's a parent that doesn't bother to check whether their kids are watching anything that contains violence or nudity.
orangecity23 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 This porn thing is only the tip of the iceberg. When is Cameron going to do something about the sea? It's just hanging around the edge of the country, and any child could just run into it and drown. We obviously can't expect parents to stop them from doing it, so the only reasonable thing to do is build a 50ft high concrete wall around the entire country. Won't somebody please think of the children?
purpleronnie Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Lads mags may be censored next. The slippery slope.....(not a euphemism).
21st Century Fox Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Lads mags may be censored next. The slippery slope.....(not a euphemism). This does seem a step too far. It's obvious that they shouldn't be placed next to children's comics (which you do see happen a lot). Just put them on the top shelf, it's worked for years! It's more to do with the publishers that buy up space on lower shelves. Who the **** even buys that tat anyway?
Captain... Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 This is clearly just the government lining the party up for another u-turn, it was only a few weeks since the last one. I really don't credit this lot with enough sense for it to be the start of a more sinister internet censorship plan. These lot are clueless morons with no idea of how the real world works, it would be funny if it wasn't so utterly depressing.
Rincewind Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 You're not a lover of Cameron then? Some may disagree.

Some of the teenage ones are a little risque. (So I've heard) And the womens mags and all the dear agonony Aunt letters about their fellows problem in bed.
Captain... Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 You're not a lover of Cameron then? Some may disagree. It's not about loving or hating cam and co, it is just following an utterly depressing pattern of them announcing populist policies without any thought or idea behind them, only to have to go back on them later when they realise they are flawed, unworkable and not actually as popular as they first thought.
Guest MattP Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 It's the supermarkets choosing to cover the magazines up, nothing to do with the government. Support Cameron trying to outlaw rape/child porn, nothing wrong with that. Not something I would impose but if it's just a phone call to get the filters off I'm not going to break down in tears, he has got far bigger things to worry from what I saw last weekend in London with what's on it's way from Romania.
