BigAL88 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 think they might of jumped the gun a little soon, only four games in...http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11695/8936908/sunderland-sack-paolo-di-canio
Guest Bilo Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 A bit soon but couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
21st Century Fox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Maybe he should think about getting into Fitness Coaching, at least he seems to be good at that.
Tielemans63 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Usually i'd say that's way too soon but they're an absolute shambles - he's sold some of their better players and replaced them with some absolute shite.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 You'll know what this will mean!? he'll get linked to us now!
Corky Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Alan Curbishley immediately installed as the bookmaker's favourite to be bookmaker's favourite who is never considered for a managerial job.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Hes upsetting everyone there always was likely to happen, was getting fed up of his constant apologising to fans etc.
iamafox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 You'll know what this will mean!? he'll get linked to us now! And why should he when we're doing well with Pearson at the moment?
Jon the Hat Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 The bloke is an utter idiot, they were fooled into thinking otherwise and realised their mistake.
purpleronnie Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Not exactly a surprise, risky to begin with, didn't work.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Alan Curbishley immediately installed as the bookmaker's favourite to be bookmaker's favourite who is never considered for a managerial job. Blimey will he really go north of watford!? bit of a risk for them been out of management for a while.
Captain... Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Ridiculous, but sadly not surprising, serves them right for sacking MON with no reason.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 And why should he when we're doing well with Pearson at the moment? Redknapp got linked to us even when we we're on a good run last season!
I am Rod Hull Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Redknapp got linked to us even when we we're on a good run last season! Linked by lazy mongol sports writers that have nothing better to do than make up shizzle.
MC Prussian Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Di Canio makes for an entertaining pundit, but he's just pretty much shit at the managerial level. Not really surprised by this move, I was more baffled that Sunderland went for him in the first place after sacking O'Neill.
dogsby Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Christ,Sunderland don't hang about.couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.
Finnegan Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 I hope it's his last job in management but he'll probably do a Keane and flop a few more times first. Hope he don't come here.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Wasn't McLeish at the Sunderland game yesterday?
DennisNedry Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Say what you want about Di Canio but a manager should never be sacked after only 4 games. Ridiculous.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Linked by lazy mongol sports writers that have nothing better to do than make up shizzle. Mate, no need to use that word.
Dr The Singh Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Say what you want about Di Canio but a manager should never be sacked after only 4 games. Ridiculous.
iamafox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Say what you want about Di Canio but a manager should never be sacked after only 4 games. Ridiculous. Well technically it's 13 games.
AKCJ Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Bet he wouldn't have been sacked if he just went down the tunnel after the game on Saturday. He can't help himself. He's just a genuine ****.
Harry - LCFC Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Bet he wouldn't have been sacked if he just went down the tunnel after the game on Saturday. He can't help himself. He's just a genuine ****. Agree with you. He hasn't helped himself with his behaviour. They've been bad but they haven't been that bad, but every time they lost he drew attention to himself which wasn't good for him at all.
Number 6 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 And to think people wanted him here! He's a fool. Ego bigger than the players. Take the job 'Arry, you know you want to.
