LCFC FOX Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 A bit surprised, you normally go out on loan to gain first team experience
Jace Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 Something must be good about our bench Logan loves it
Harry - LCFC Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 Of course he's going to say that. A while ago he said he said he really wanted to play games, that's not happening so he can't be totally happy about what he's getting out of his time here. I don't much care to be honest, we've got players who are simply better than him.
Jace Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 Who remembers the Ben Marshall 'I'm really happy at Leicester City' interview story
Ashley Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 Logan really does worry me, he's been warming our bench for sometime now obviously he is happy just picking up his wages at the end of the week! Personally I think he should of moved onto a League 1 Or League 2 club by now.

Personally I think he should of moved onto a League 1 Or League 2 club by now. It's a no brainer for us really, he'll be dirt cheap and he doesn't complain. If Kasper did get injured we would be straight out into the loan market anyway. It's a good deal for him and us.
Beliall Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 hes part of the furniture now. king power own him

Jimmy Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 he's gone from Arsenal reserves to our 1st team squad so its a learning curve for him, he is unfortunate, he signed when we were playing 3 at the back and the left CB spot was set for him, but NP's failure to select an attacking 3-5-2 forced a change so he lost out due to Liam's form. If Konch got injured he'd probably come in at left back Logan really does worry me, he's been warming our bench for sometime now obviously he is happy just picking up his wages at the end of the week! Personally I think he should of moved onto a League 1 Or League 2 club by now. why? its a job to him, why should he get less money elsewhere to live on after he can't get a contract in football anymore?
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 It's all just a big fat mess.. too many good defenders. And St ledger.
kingfox Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 It's all just a big fat mess.. too many good defenders. And St ledger. Yep and St Ledger. St Ledger comes in the excellent defenders category, as he is better than good.
Dickov22 Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Yep and St Ledger. St Ledger comes in the excellent defenders category, as he is better than good. Hasn't been for us though
davieG Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Ignasi Miquel may not be able to buy a game in the Championship for Leicester City ... but he scored in theLeague Cup win v Fulham yesterday. So there goes the first, of what Arsenal fans are hoping is not many, disappointing cup nights for 2013-14. The doom merchants are already chirping away after the Gunners saw their Champions League hopes dented against Borussia Dortmund last week and their League Cup chances terminated by a more powerful second-string Chelsea side last night - it seems not even being top of the league can prevent Wenger and his club from criticism. Arsenal rested several players, but still had a strong team on show last night. However the glaring inability of two of those players that came in, Carl Jenkinson and Nicklas Bendtner highlights the difference in the two sides strength in depth, that leaves Arsenal with just the three more routes toward ending the silverware drought this term. But while this spattering of first-team starters and bench warmers dropped out, one player more than used to League Cup football with the Gunners is celebrating a dramatic advancement to the next round. Arsenal allowed Spanish defender Ignasi Miquel a loan move to Leicester City at the start of the season, to give the 21-year-old a chance of regular first-team football in 2013-14. Earlier in the month however things were not looking good for the player. He expressed his frustration at a lack of playing time with The Foxes this season. Speaking in the local press he stated: "This is a very important year for me at Leicester. I have to show to myself and Arsenal what I can do and that I can play. It has been a little frustrating because I haven't played many games so far, but I have to be realistic…I have try to get as much experience and games as I can. Then I must go back to Arsenal and try to get into the team. That will be very tough but that is what I plan to do." But last night would have done his chances no harm. He is currently behind Wes Morgan and Liam Moore in the pecking order, but was given a chance to start the game against Fulham in the competition last night. And he would have done his chances no harm. Despite the Championship club’s defence being potentially questioned on conceding three goals, at least they scored four - of which Miquel bagged one. It was his first goal for the club, and his second professional goal along with scoring against Coventry City in the same competition last year. Lloyd Dyer scored a stunning late winner for Leicester to leave their Premier League opponents flabbergasted in defeat. And hopefully give Miquel more first-team opportunities, as he hopes to add to the solitary appearance he has made in the Championship this season. Can Miquel crack the first team at Arsenal, or indeed at Leicester City for that matter?
foxfanazer Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Don't think he's got a prayer getting into the Arsenal side but he does look decent. Likes to play the ball out from the back, which scares me a little bit sometimes but its good to see from a young player
GingerrrFox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 He hasn't got a prayer of being good enough for a Top 4 Premier League Club but he could do the business for a solid Premiership/Europa League team.
ADK Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I can't see him cracking our back 2, but he could feature if we go with a back 3 or someone gets an injury.
deep blue Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Who remembers the Ben Marshall 'I'm really happy at Leicester City' interview story Straying unashamedly off topic, I notice Ben Marshall was only on the bench for Blackburn last Saturday, and wasn't called upon. Already not a key member of their squad, then.
MGLCFC Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 A workmate of mine is a huge Venkyboy and thinks Marshall is absolute rubbish - thinks we've robbed them of £1million. Says he just drifts in and out of games and looks disinterested. Can see Marshall being another Levi Porter if he doesn't get his act sorted out.

Swalker Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Reckon He'd be higher in Arsenal's CB rankings than ours. Morgan Moore Was SSL Whitbread (on performances this season he's looked better than Miguel IMO but I didn't see the Fulham game) Miguel
Mack Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Reckon He'd be higher in Arsenal's CB rankings than ours. Morgan Moore Was SSL Whitbread (on performances this season he's looked better than Miguel IMO but I didn't see the Fulham game) Miguel I thought he was a liability until the Fulham game, however after that I'd put him ahead of the big Pole, looked really solid and formed a more secure partnership with Morgan for me.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 arsenal youth so must be good considering wenger shipped out 20+ players in the summer and miquel wasnt one of them
