Machinesoul1 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 That might just be the best game I've been to at the KP
Father Ted Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 What a game! Atmosphere was electric! Hopefully, that game can have the effect to drive us on even more! ] Hammond, Miquel, Schlupp, James, Wood all put in very accomplished performances and really shows the strength in depth when we can bring these 5 in and not look out of place against a Premiership (I do use that lightly though tbh, Fulham are/were shit and will get relegated I reckon) side.
foxfanazer Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 We were 100% the better team imo. We looked slicker and attacked with much more purpose. Just switched off for their second and there 3rd was unstoppable
Tom17LCFC Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Roof came off when Dyer scored. In a way it reminded me of midweek nights at Filbert St. Great night tonight.
MC Prussian Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 What a game and what a terrific finish to a highly entertaining game. A story that only the cup can write - I couldn't be there tonight, but I salute all Leicester fans who made it to the King Power to witness a mind-boggling 4-3 win over Fulham. Spirits are flying high, and so they should be. After all the negative experiences in the past few years and months, finally there's something to cheer about when it comes to cup competitions. Unbeaten in nine at home now, overcoming a late resurgence by a mid-table Premier League team, showing grit and determination. The team has finally found together. Long may it continue. A win over Watford this weekend would do nicely, as well. The next League Cup game must be a sell-out. You know it makes sense - support your team! Up the Foxes!
Lobsterboyuk Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 A special night, fair play to Kasper giving the match ball to a lad in J block, and Karagounis throwing his shirt into K for another kid
kingfox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 That might just be the best game I've been to at the KP please don't say that. Plenty missed it tonight, and especially for me who decided to opt for a night in watching Eastenders. Feel close to depression.
MC Prussian Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 And hence the sentence was born: "You should've been there."
Simmo86 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 All I can say is WOW. Thats why I love Leicester and thats why I love football!
Bert Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 It's just great to be a Leicester fan at the minute. Fantastic game, and a bit of revenge from their recent cup exploits over us!
LCFC FOX Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 After Dyers I could easily say that last 5 minutes was the best atmosphere ever at the KP I've witnessed. Whole ground was bouncing. Another home time next round please
Xen Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 "3-1, and you fvcked it up! 3-1, and you fvcked it up!" ... 2 minutes later ... "3-3, and you fvcked it up! 3-3, and you fvcked it up!" Bloody brilliant!
Webbo Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Are the goals likely to be back on SSN again tonight?
Father Ted Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Lloyd Dyer's goal was reminiscent of his away at Blackpool in 2010 with the flare celebrations, I love Lloydy
Lionheart Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 That is one of the best games I've ever seen down the City.We really are becoming a good side, bring on Watford. C'mon you Blues.
Dan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 That is quite possibly the best game I have ever seen at that stadium. Absolutely memorable night. Fvcking brilliant.
Mark_w Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Brilliant match, probably the most enjoyable at the KP since the Leeds game in League One. Loved it.
crisp packet Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 'That's why your championship!!' 'Que se ra' Ha ha gloating after 18 mins ? Fancied us after I heard that .....! Well done to every one connected to the club! Every player played there part . This squad is looking good.......? COYB!!!!!! Very proud . Great night at the kp
yorkie1999 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Couldn't help but sing that's why we're championship whilst walking past their fans after the game.
broughtonblue Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 That is quite possibly the best game I have ever seen at that stadium. Absolutely memorable night. Fvcking brilliant. This. Fantastic night of footballCan't believe no one has mentioned Kaspers superb save either yet, not sure what the score was at the time but I think our heads might have dropped if that had gone in, brilliant team performance
Leicester_Numan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 I'm all in favour of plumping for a league cup win when you're a mid table also-ran with nothing else to win, for sure. I loved our cup victories. But at the moment, chasing promotion, with a fourty-six game league season and a threadbare squad? Sooner we go out the better. Would love United at home in the next round. We'll sell out, go out with a bit of dignity (hopefully) and with hopefully no ill effect on our morale and a few extra quid in the bank. Anyway, not the place for my moaning, good result and all the better that we did it whilst rotating the squad. Big, big +1 for Nigel tonight. They're playing Spurs tomorrow aren't they? They'll lose. If you're hoping we'll lose in the quarters then an away tie at Old Trafford might be better, it's likely to be a bigger crowd and we'll get half of the gate
