Captain... Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Yeah sure but he's a young twenty something isn't he? Chances are if he's got a bird as far as a date she already knows she'd shag him which is about all he needs to.know. Don't do anything stupid, keep it simple and be entertaining enough in yourself and the rest is just minor details. He's not trying to get Arianne in the sack! Fair enough, but when the price is more or less the same, some where with a bit more character like Bistrot Pierre will make a much better impression, regardless of age and likelihood of sex. @Ozwin - we might be able to give better advice if you told us a bit more about her. Is she a classy bird or will a couple of Stellas followed by a kebab going to be enough to get her in the sack?
MPH Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Got to be some decent places to eat around the new highcross section? Failing that if she likes curry take her to Shimla Pinks on London road. Its got the word Pink in it and girls love pink.
Captain... Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 The Draft House near Tower Bridge. It's got a great selection of beer/ales on draft (which you can't see on the website, sadly) and the aforementioned pork scratchings. They look awesome, finally a pub where I can say my cock is as long as a pork scratching and not get funny looks.
MPH Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 And in respone to some others posted.... Don't set the bar too high on the first date with a really really expensive place to eat as guess what she will be expecting from then on? You'll be in debt by Christmas.

Whereas I appreciate the advice, I'm good in that department haha, been there done that. Just fancy taking her out somewhere for a change. It's not really a 'date' in fairness. She's a bit classy like, so a kebab and a pint wont do!
Unabomber Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 pics It only took the 56 posts, bad form lads.
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Echo what Unabomber said in the Rutland and Derby. Classy little pub, great food and does all sorts of drinks. Top little beer garden as well.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Echo what Unabomber said in the Rutland and Derby. Classy little pub, great food and does all sorts of drinks. Top little beer garden as well. I see what you're saying re: the beer garden - the weather's getting colder - take this piece out back and watch the nips flare. WATCH THE NIPS FLARE
Mike Oxlong Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 If she's a dwarf you won't be able to get her on some of the rides at Alton Towers. If she's really fat she'll be gasping for you to get on the ride so you probably won't need to take her anywhere and can save some cash.
Stadt Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 After the picture of the foot long pork scratching and what Mike Oxlong said I want to hurl.
sphericalfox Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 After the picture of the foot long pork scratching and what Mike Oxlong said I want to hurl. waste not want not.
21st Century Fox Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 That picture was missing something....
Bayfox Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Barceloneta on Queens Road is good for a date. Been plenty of times......I'v even been dumped in there! Spanish tapas, decent atmosphere, Dos Hermanos whilst you wait for your table & the food ain't bad. Order a selection of dishes to share & it's not too expensive. this man here is the man for advice. My favourite place to go when we have a sitter for the kids. The wife loves it. we go nearly everytime we get someone to have the kids. Never get bored. So many dishes. And to those wanting to try it. Sun, mon and tues night I think it is theres a set style menu. Costs about 13.50 inc a drink and a choice of 3 dishes. So dinner for 2 with an extra drink costs about 30 quid.
ADK Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Take her on a bus tour of south east London before stopping at a McDonalds, make sure she pays.

Unabomber Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 If you're into non authentic Caribbean food then Turtle Bay. Nice cocktails too. Ah non authentic, my favourite type of Caribbean food.
Samilktray Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Ah non authentic, my favourite type of Caribbean food. Its just what I'm informed every time I'm there. I'm not particularly Caribbean myself.
Mike Oxlong Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Non authentic Caribbean food is quite widespread. I've had it in Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants and also at my local chippy.
Bert Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 No, you're getting 2 dates mixed up there. I might be going on another one soon infact What's his name?
