Danizen Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Level on points with QPR and Burnley. One team will fall away I just hope to god it isn't us.
lestajigs Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Maybe we can go for 6points in a week against to bogey teams
steveherbe Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 So James and Miquel came on. who went off?
Bert Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 What a stark contrast from the first half to the second. First half was dreadful. The players must've still been on holiday. Kasper should've saved their goal I thought, but the defence let McGoldrick have a free shot at goal. It was toothless first half. Second half was brilliant. The changes won us the game. Miquel was solid and Matty James was a breath of fresh air. Morgan was an absolute rock at the back. Dyer gave them problems all game and absolutely bust his balls for us today. Two class finishes from Nuge, coupled with a decent performance. You can't ask for much more from him today. We were devastating for the first 25 minutes of the second half. Great feeling coming away with a win after a poor first half and being a goal down. A vital win in what is going to be a really tricky period for us.
lestajigs Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Level on points with QPR and Burnley. One team will fall away I just hope to god it isn't us. Everyone keeps saying burnley, but I they keep either winning or drawing against.the better teams,
Guest shearfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Ok, Moore and King off As much as I like King I think James might just be a better all round player, King can go missing especially away
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Great result, and a good bounce back from last week.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Brilliant result, especially after the first half, it sounded so bad I fell asleep (in fairness I have been looking after two babies all day) and didn't wake up until we equalized James sounded very good, I'm pleased because I think he's way too good a player to be sitting on the bench. Nugent has 13 in 12 against Ipswich now, they're obviously slow learners! Good to bounce back, I just hope we can keep this up so that the Burnley and QPR games are chances to edge ahead of them.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 4 points from our next 2 games and Xmas starts to look sensational.
VinceNoir Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Sent this to my dad earlier. Should've put my money on it!!
foxfanazer Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Fantastic win. Really didn't expect that. Well done Nugent proving a few doubters wrong. They must really hate him out there! Keeps us in the mix and looking forward to the next game. Great getting back to league football
Lobsterboyuk Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Enjoyed the second half especially after the unconvincing first half performance, great to see Nuge sparkle again!
marko Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Just seen the goals on SSN. Excellent finishes and great play by Drinkwater and Dyer for the second.
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Author Posted 23 November 2013 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/nov/23/championship-ipswich-leicester-nugent?CMP=twt_gu Yeah cos that's Lloyd Dyer.
Ozwin Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I saw we were 1-0 down and actually said to myself we're going to win 2-1. Surely we're heading for a record of overturning defeats this season? Seems to happen every game. Sign of a quality, well motivated team if you ask me.

I think some don't realise the importance of Dyer, sure he isn't the best finisher but if he was he wouldn't even be here, he would be playing in a top six PL team.
lgfualol Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 We've won the most games in the Championship
Webbo Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/nov/23/championship-ipswich-leicester-nugent?CMP=twt_gu Yeah cos that's Lloyd Dyer. They all look the same to Guardian readers.
Guest shearfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 They all look the same to Guardian readers. that is quality

And the amount of times the goals are in quick succession is very interesting. If only Nugent had scored that penalty last week......sigh
