I think I'm actually on a stag do in Benidorm that weekend, which will be even better.

That will be absolutely mental. Carnage.

In fact, that gives me an idea, we're supposed to be doing a Magaluf reunion this summer.

I am pretty sure there's 4 games on that Saturday.

5pm, 8pm, 11pm & then us @ 2am. That is going to be amazing.

Correct Scouse.

I think we'll get 4 points. Draw vs Italy, we love a first game draw, lose narrowly to Uruguay & then beat Costa Rica. I dunno if we'd get through with that or not, guessing it'd be tight.

Scotland have been drawn against

Wales have been drawn against

lol

Italy and Uruguay will draw I think, we could beat Uruguay and should beat Costa Rica, we'll lose to Italy which would put us on 6 with a decent chance of going through.

That joke's so old.

Terrible group but still think we have enough quality to get out of it if he plays the right team and attacks them.

think we could beat any of the 3 in our group but it will be tough.

Maybe with no pressure or expectations we'll see a team playing with more freedom?

Could have done without the first game location but same for Italy....

Of the favourites Spain and Germany have tricky groups I feel.

Easy for France on paper but just never know which French team are going to turn up!

Brazil v Spain/Netherlands/Chile is a tasty 2nd round game.

I don't think the group is that difficult, what the problem is is if we're still the absolute pits come June. Italy aren't the force they have been in recent years, i'd much rather face them than Belgium or even France right now. Uruguay have some great individual attackers and will be used to the weather but luckily we are playing them in more cooler temperatures. They tend to do well at World Cups but i'd rather face them than Argentina or Brazil. Costa Rica are bang average and finishing against them is a blessing as it could be that a win gets us through and Italy or Uruguay get tucked up.

Italy are slow starts in tournaments as well, even in their heyday they make a meal out of it.

We need some defenders to step up to the plate from now until June, players far more accomplished and talented that Phil fookin Jagielka, Chris Smalling and them prats we field at right back

Got Spain v Holland and Germany v Portugal for my two games in Salvador :)

That is absolutely mustard, kid!!!

Why does anybody want to stay up till 2am, to watch Balotelli destroy us?

Because that's what the world cup is all about boyo.

People have probably guessed by now that I'm not the biggest England supporter. In fact against Italy I'd probably be neutral.

But it's the fvcking world cup. I'd stay up til 4am to watch Iran v Nigeria if it's at the world cup.

That day is going to be epic. Whack the barby on, get the beers and margheritas in, chill and watch 4 world cup games back to back, drinking through to the early hours.

We always get drawn to play at least one group game at the weekend, you can abuse Blatter and that french norris all you like but fair fcuks to them for rigging that for us. We are the pits at football but we know how to swig and that's what they give us.

It's a massive 6 months for Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Daniel Sturridge, Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill, Joe Hart, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Glen Johnson.

If those chaps can sort their domestic and international form out then we will compliment Gerrard, Welbeck, Rooney, Lampard, Carrick, Lambert and Townsend who have done very well this season for England.
