Adrian Durham...

The guy is a tool.

He thinks that because of the Hillsborough disaster Liverpool should win the league every year.

Be honest, how many people laughed and called Cardiff chokers?

I did and i'm sure I know many others did, are we as bad as their 'choking years'?

Not just yet imo, even if we don't go up this year I would compare us quite as bad but we won't be far behind.

Hardly.  Two seasons hardly represents 125 years of league football...

I forgot we judged every team on everything they've ever done. Hypothetically, if we don't go up this year, it's yet another where we've hit the summit, ran away with it to an extent with another two sides, and yet failed to go into 2014/15 in a better position than a side who've finished 21st. Last year doesn't need explaining. The year before we were rightly favourites and blew it completely, the year before we choked at every single chance we had at getting into the top six, the year before... as good a season as it was, we still ultimately choked at the final hurdle.

I think the bloke's a total twat and the fact he makes more than the vast majority of us for sitting on a radio talking out his arse is absolutely sickening, but if we do blow it again this year then I think he has a point.

Then again, to make that point after one defeat when we're still top of the league is absolutely nonsense. But then again this is coming from a twat who thinks Liverpool should win the league because of the Hillsborough disaster so it's a bit irrelevant. I assume he thinks we should hand the Philippines the World Cup trophy too.

His quote was "biggest chokers in football history".

A failure this season wouldn't hand us that moniker.

Who the **** is Adrian Durham?

Exactly. Not on my radar at all

Who the **** is Adrian Durham?

Correct who the fvck is he.

A no one presenter on talk sport drive time that loves to WUM.

Then again if he did not no fvcker would ever call in as his show is full of shite when he is not wuming.

Definitely premature on his part, but after what happened last year (which was absolutely spectacular, bottom-of-the-league form after it looked like we were in great shape) it's not surprising that some of the mouthier elements of the press are jumping on last night.

And, putting my pessimist hat on, our next 5 games are:

Brighton (A)

Burnley (H)

Man City (H)

QPR (A)

Reading (H)

Now whilst it's unlikely that we'd lost all 5, defeat at Brighton on Saturday could set in motion some serious jitters.

It would be a decent return if we picked up 5 points from the 4 league games and don't get humiliated by City. To the outside eye, 5 points in 5 games from the League leaders (inc. Sheff Wed) would look like a pretty hefty wobble.

I listen to Talksport all day and let me tell you when his show starts I usually switch off.The guy is the most boring guy on the planet, the slagging off of Arsenal is a regular thing and he's been saying the same thing for years. Why he's in a job I don't know. The total opposite is the Colin Murry show at 10am.Informative,funny and never boring. If Van Persie wins a dodgy penalty Colin Murry might discuss it for 2-3 mins, that twat Durham will do an hour on it,a fookin hour.

I don't see the word 'history' anywhere in his quote.

If he had said it about Cardiff he'd have a point..

Not really as Cardiff actually lasted the whole season last time. We're the new Cardiff as far as I'm concerned and it's up to us this season to make sure someone else holds that burden. I actually think 'someone else' could well be Forest, because as it stands I don't see them anywhere near promotion.

...has just branded us the biggest chokers in football.

Why do I even bother to listen to that idiot on the radio.

hes a cvnt who supports a shittier team than Darren Gough, dont worry about it

I had a brief but intense love affair with TalkSport. For a couple of months, I thought it was the best audible things since sliced bread.

Quite soon after, I realised that every single show is the same. All of the callers pissed me off because they're all Arsenal or Chelsea fans, most of whom live in places like Wycombe and Luton. All of the adverts are aimed at Cockney tradesmen exclusively.

It's basically like sitting in a pub listening to a load of demented southerners talking incessant shite.

Edit: The only genuinely entertaining bloke on there, Mike Parry (who is hilarious), got booted off.
