Your Cup

Just been to make a cuppa for myself and my wife and I have made the two drinks in cups both of which my wife considers to be "hers".  My wife can get quite huffy if we have guests round and I give a cup that is "her cup" to a guest, which obviously means we have lots of neutral cups too (the number of cups we've acquired over the years we could quite easily host a party bigger than our house could comfortably contain.)

Which got me thinking on the "my cup" front. I don't really have one. I have cups that I prefer (usually the largest  ), but none that I don't like to see other people using. But who on here has a "my cup" that no one else should use on pain of death?

I have a cup with some 30 Seconds to Mars lyrics on it. Sounds a bit sad but it's my cup and if I see anyone else using it I'd get very angry lol.

Also have a London 2012 mug which gets used for 'special occasions'.

Got a LCFC cup, a see through one and one I had made with the name of my poetry website on Quill 2  Ink 2 Paper. Has a picture of a skull on. As I don't have guests round I use whichever is the cleanest.

I have a Leicester City mug but I'm not precious about it.

I don't mind at home, but it pisses me off no end at work. We've got a load of plain white mugs for everyone and then people can bring their own in too. I've got this pretty sweet Marvel Comics mug at work and it keeps going missing because the plain mugs are all in use and some total **** can't be bothered to bring his own mug in, so he nicks mine.

It's madness, at home I wouldn't give less of a shit, but at work it drives me spare. If I ever find the bastard - or bitch, it might be a lady - who's nicking my mug, they're gonna cop it!

At home I have an official LCFC mug, which being official merchandise has been faded to the point of being unrecognisable by the dishwasher, and an early version of the British Tea Power mug which has miraculously survived for about 8 years.

The saddest casualty has been my beloved Spitfire winter scene mug, purchased from the Spitfire museum at RAF Manston, smashed by my beloved, and if the internet is anything to go by the only one of its type in the world, anywhere

I have a cup which I generally don't share with others, I wouldn't get angry if I saw someone drinking out of it, just a little disgusted.

Got a London Underground mug that is mine. Not that bothered if guests use it though.

It would annoy me if mum made a cuppa and gave me one of the boring ones and mine for herself though lol

For tea I prefer a bone china cup / mug other than that I don't care.

I have two that nobody else uses. One is Monopoly, and my other is a Beatles mug (what else!?).

Me too.

The bottom part was quite good, it had a Rubber Sole.
