Adster Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Pete O'Rourke â€@SkySportsPeteO59s A host of Championship + League one clubs interested in taking Leicester defender Zoumana Bakayogo on loan. #lcfc
Langston Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Good stuff, be interesting to see a Championship side take him on to see how he fares at this level.
lgfualol Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Definitely. Better than playing with a bunch of under 21 people.
Dan Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Can't hurt him. Been a very pointless signing so far.
The Blur Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Hope likes of Barnsley/Sheff Wed/Yeovil take him on rather than a league one club though that is more likely as teams from that league will know all about his capabilities.
kingfox Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 The only good thing he's done for us, is dance and sing in that Christmas Take Out video.
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 May as well. Looks miles away from getting in our team atm.
Guest MattP Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 May as well, was a strange signing, clearly thought we were going into the season without Konchesky.
Langston Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 May as well, was a strange signing, clearly thought we were going into the season without Konchesky. Imagine it. I know he's on more than steady money but thank Christ we kept hold of Konch.
foxfanazer Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Would quite like us to look at getting decent back up for Konch then. I know Miquel can play there but a proper LB would be nice. Maybe just a loan
MC Prussian Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Can't hurt him. Been a very pointless signing so far. Why? There's always a chance of Konchesky getting injured. And none of our other defenders are true left-backs by nature. Granted, we haven't seen a lot from Bakayogo, but I'd least give him the benefit of the doubt until he's played on Championship level a couple of times eg. on a more or less regular basis.

I think he means the fact that when Konch has been out of the side for whatever reason we have used Schlupp or Miquel (neither natural left backs), so yeah a pretty pointless signing so far
Fox92 Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 When we signed him I saw a Tranmere fan post on their forum that "he'll probably not play for Leicester and will be loaned back out in January"... Bit of a strange signing. Can only think Nige doesn't rate him. We've got enough cover in Konckesky, Schlupp and even Miquel and De Laet.

GingerrrFox Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 We signed Zoom as we were trying to offload Konchesky (mainly because of wages) and he was close to joining Brighton if every one remembers back in August. He was definitely a Nigel signing though, this was when Terry and Nigel were on different wave lengths back then.
LCCFox96 Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 With a loanee centre back and a striker ahead of him in the pecking order for left back he wants to get out and have a good loan spell. Feel sorry for the guy that it hasn't worked out in terms of first team football for him here. He looked half decent when he arrived and never got a chance. Agree with this. Tranmere fans always rated him reasonably highly too. Best we could do on a shoestring budget.
foxfanazer Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Not played enough but when he has played he's looked truly dreadful. Derby in the cup was embarrassing to watch him

Banks Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Feel for him, hope he goes to a lower Championship club (a Tom Kennedy type)
