Uncle Albert Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Doesn't the, The Year Of The Fox owe us some money also? I'm sure it was something Steven Gerrard related in general sport. Haha yeah he does. Pretty sure it was on him pulling out of the England squad for the Poland/Montenegro games or something like that.
Out Foxed Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 he'll be playing for england within 5 years if he continues to progress. 2m is laughable.
Mark_from_USA Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 I saw Fulhams American owner interviewed. He also owns the Jacksonville Jaguars, a perennially poor NFL team. He pretty much said he was not into being a big spender. I think if more money is offered, it will not be from him. Just a hunch.
foxfanazer Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 You realise what this could mean if it goes through ?? Return of the Zak, It is, Return of the Zak, Come on, Return of the Zak, Oh, my god, You know that I'll be back, Here I am. quality! The oh my god bit is bang on

Happy Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Fulham will make another bid that is very futile move, it won't be accepted. Good news regarding contracts though It is a busy time for City as the club has opened talks with several of the existing squad about extending their contracts. The Mercury understands those talks include goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, captain Wes Morgan and winger Lloyd Dyer. Buzzell Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Good to hear that contract negotiations with the likes of Kasper and co have started.
Babylon Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Interesting that Nuge isn't one of them... I'd imagine he was on vastly more than the others!
Jimothy Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Interesting that Nuge isn't one of them... I'd imagine he was on vastly more than the others! The article only says it includes those players, not that it's exclusively those players.
GingerrrFox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 I think it's pretty safe to say by all accounts that Nugent and Konchesky are the two biggest earners. No one knows exact financials for obvious reasons but that's the impression I get.
Babylon Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 The article only says it includes those players, not that it's exclusively those players. And Tanner on twitter just said, "LCFC in contract talks with Morgan, Dyer and Kasper". You don't think Nugent, our top scorer for three years is a rather big name to leave off?
Happy Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Nugent isn't a big concern he will probably get a new contract when we have gained promotion.
Jimothy Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 And Tanner on twitter just said, "LCFC in contract talks with Morgan, Dyer and Kasper". You don't think Nugent, our top scorer for three years is a rather big name to leave off? Fair point, I hadn't seen Tanner's twitter. At times papers just name 3 or 4 out of a list of 6 or 7 that's all.
Ric Flair Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Interesting that Nuge isn't one of them... I'd imagine he was on vastly more than the others! Well over £20,000 a week would be a decent guess. I've still got a feeling Forest will panic buy and offer us a too good a deal to turn down for him towards the end of this month.

Happy Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Nugent is on £35,000 That is an awful lot however on the flip side he is our best striker so perhaps warrants it, won't be getting a new contract if we are in the championship not unless it is a pay cut, but if we are promoted I would think we would offer him a deal.
leicesterisme Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Nugent is on £35,000 Doubt that personally.
Babylon Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Fair point, I hadn't seen Tanner's twitter. At times papers just name 3 or 4 out of a list of 6 or 7 that's all. I know what you mean, I just think the list of ones we actually want to keep is that small, naming three of four if they are all in discussions just seemed odd.
Dan Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Doesn't the, The Year Of The Fox owe us some money also? I'm sure it was something Steven Gerrard related in general sport. I owed this place a tenner if Cavani signed for a Premier League side and didn't win the golden boot I've got to admit PSG have saved me a tenner there. There was no way he was outscoring Suarez this season
Soar Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 I owed this place a tenner if Cavani signed for a Premier League side and didn't win the golden boot I've got to admit PSG have saved me a tenner there. There was no way he was outscoring Suarez this season A friend of mine was mouthing off in the summer saying how Arsenal will win the league easily. I told him to put his money where his mouth is and gave him odds of 15/1, he put £20 on it. I'm starting to regret that now so offered him £50 cash out now

Seriously unlucky 'cause I'm not as convinced as most people that Man City have it sewn up. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool won't go away.
Corky Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 And Tanner on twitter just said, "LCFC in contract talks with Morgan, Dyer and Kasper". You don't think Nugent, our top scorer for three years is a rather big name to leave off? Maybe they'll see how these contract talks go and find out what those three want before asking the higher earners in Nugent and Konchesky?
Uncle Albert Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 If Leicester are offering new contracts to Morgan and Kasper, then why aren't they offering Moore one who only has 18 months left on his deal and by getting him to sign a new contract his value automatically goes up considerably and also ends the transfer speculation if they don't want to sell.
