LCFC31 Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 No we'd need an experienced keeper as a 3rd choice in the 25 man squad incase kasper and Ben both got injured Also comrades been a great servant to the club, not with how good he's played or breaking any records (apart from bench warming records)but I mean who else would be happy sitting as a number 2 for 8 years to many different keepers and not kick up a fuss when he could have quite easily put a transfer request in and played regular league 1 football, he must love the club. Matt Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Happy with this but does concern me that he's obviously a good keeper who would be wanting 1st team football and can't see him getting ahead of Kasper which leads me to be concerned about him not signing, I hope he does and think he will but it does concern me nonetheless. As has been mention I think we may have Kasper as No1 (obviously) with Logan on the bench send Hamer out on loan to give him the 1st team action he will want then should Kasper get injured get Hamer back to slot in. Basically Logan's role is to come on if Kasper got injured during a match. Perhaps I'm looking into it all to much anyway welcome.

He's played for Crawley, Brentford, Exeter and Charlton and they've made him sound like Dino Zoff crossed with Lev Yashin. Anyway, seems a good signing.

Suggests he's come here having been told there's a strong chance of him being on the bench. Still not seeing any reason to think Schmeichel will leave personally.

Smith will not progress by never playing so he'll be loaned out again, which leaves Schmeichel, Hamer & Logan Adam Smith is U21 so won't have to be included in the 25 and can play if recalled from a loan. I think Conrad will be on his way either through a loan or permanent.
