ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Maybe both Canpbell & Ulloa are bluffs and we actually want Connor Wickham. I wish.
chapero82 Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Fraizer Campbell ✔ @FraizerCampbell Follow No surprise it's sunny in Huddersfield #caribbeanofyorkshire #homesweethome 1:32 PM - 18 Jul 2014 what is he doing?
AKCJ Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 I know it's childish, but I find all of these twitter accounts funny.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Campbell is someone I would not want here. I doubt that he has anything to offer in the loyalty sense.
Fox Ulike Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 I would still go after Campbell if we can agree terms with him... For £600k he would be a right old bargain.

Guest Col city fan Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 I thought we weren't getting Campbell because he is 'too greedy', a 'mercenary' or a plain ol cnvt.. As somebody on here called him recently? Do we want him or not? Make yer Ferkin minds up!
Rob1742 Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Wide of the mark, we won't be signing another forward. Reporter don't know how we work as a club. We won't be going for another striker. I would think that is our business done now, we have kept hold of last seasons squad and added where we need too. No point taking Campbell, unless we were to off load Wood, and I can't see him wanting to move out on his contract.

It seems obvious Campbell and Vardy would fight for the quick/pain in the ass striker role whilst Nuge and Ulloa would vie for the other slot dependant on opponent and set up etc. Not sure Wood comes in to it? You seem very certain considering you seem to have missed this rather obvious point.

st albans fox Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 ulloa is nothing like nugent. in fact ulloa is much more like wood, with the added bonus he is decent in the air. i rather hope that for 7 million we get a player who holds the ball up and has a decent first touch. that should set him apart from CW.
Deucalion Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 If a striker leaves then we might sign another forward.

Wood showed against fulham just what he is capable of, put in a quality performance against a premier league side. Judging people on their performance in the championship/other leagues is totally irrelevant compared to what they may achieve in the premier league. In fact, there are many cases where players actually have better records in the premier league compared to 'lower leagues'. Even as fans we have no idea. We haven't been watching constant premier league football over the last few years....which is why i don't understand the assumptions of 'well you get more time on the ball' debate and then the 'teams close you down more often' argument.

Narborough_fox Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Fourth Official @FourthOfficial_ 9s Fraizer Campbell to have a medical with Leicester City over the weekend #LCFC
DanTheFox07 Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 he is pretty reliable, wow that changed quickly! much happier with those coming in but must mean were letting someone go out on loan?
kingfox Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 More than happy with this, gives us depth up front, and Campbell has Premier League experience and is capable of chipping in with a goal. Can see Wood definitely going now, if this happens.
LCFC FOX Posted 18 July 2014 Posted 18 July 2014 Campbell and Ulloa? Fair to say Pearson has shocked me, I can see either Wood or GTF going. Most likely Wood
