Vardy is the best striker we currently have at the club, but one good season does not make a career. You only have to look at players like Leroy lita who have had one decent season at championship level, but have a terrible record apart from that. Vardy is not the best striker for the exact reason you mention. Baffling how Nugent is dismissed so regularly on here.
