Dr The Singh Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2703339/Burnley-join-race-sign-striker-Troy-Deeney-Watford-hold-10m.html looks like a bidding war, boys and girls.. Fook him!
VLC86 Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 why ain't the sheep shaggers getting him back? Because he wasn't great for them other than the opening month. I saw him miss a few sitters when I watched them.
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 I would love him to sign and imagine if we got a DEEEEEEEEEEEENEY moment when you pay well over £10m we will have a mooooooooney moment!!!
GingerrrFox Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 I'm fairly certain that the interest in Deeney is agent talk.
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 when you pay well over £10m we will have a mooooooooney moment!!! Is LCFC in danger of slipping back into bad habits and paying too much for players?
Steven Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 when you pay well over £10m we will have a mooooooooney moment!!! Watford = selling Club.
Walshy5 Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 I'm fairly certain that the interest in Deeney is agent talk. I hope your right
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Watford = selling Club. Man u sold Ronaldo Spurs sold Bale Every club is a selling club when the price is right
GingerrrFox Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Deeney wants Premier League football, we enquired a few weeks ago when the Ulloa deal was still up in the air. Burnley want him but are refusing to fork out Watford's asking price and now Deeney's agent is trying to stump up interest to keep the deal alive.
Steven Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Man u sold Ronaldo Spurs sold Bale Every club is a selling club when the price is right I am not sure either of those Clubs had an operating loss. Hate to see what it will be on year end June 30th 2014.
Filberts Treat Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Even if we're not interested doesn't hurt to play the game and pretend we are causing Burnley to spend more than they wanted depleting their funds
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 I am not sure either of those Clubs had an operating loss. Hate to see what it will be on year end June 30th 2014. Watford made a small profit last year. We will never be reckless like LCFC have been in the past leaving huge debts unpaid.
ian_marshall Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Superhorns - What rumours are flying about at your end? Has anything credible suggested that we are genuinely interested, or is this just largely rumour and speculation?
GingerrrFox Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Watford made a small profit last year. We will never be reckless like LCFC have been in the past leaving huge debts unpaid. Yawn. The one and only thing people can have a pop at us about and they don't even know half of the story.
Brooksy Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 The Watford Observer and Leicester Mercury both have confirmed we had 2 bids rejected, there must be something in it.
Banks Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Bamford over Deeney, seriously? If the job wasn't to stay in the prem but to look to the future then maybe but it isn't and I think Deeney over Bamford at the minute any day of the week! This. Ask any Derby fan and Bamford really wasn't that great, started very well but didn't do much after that.
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Yawn. The one and only thing people can have a pop at us about and they don't even know half of the story. I know lots of local businesses were left in financial trouble.
DanTheFox07 Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Watford made a small profit last year. We will never be reckless like LCFC have been in the past leaving huge debts unpaid. im not surprised watford made a profit, considering half your team is made of loan player's!
AKCJ Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Watford made a small profit last year. We will never be reckless like LCFC have been in the past leaving huge debts unpaid. But it doesn't bother you that you've been using other clubs to hide debts? Buy at Udinese, give to Watford. Buy at Granada, give to Watford.
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 im not surprised watford made a profit, considering half your team is made of loan player's! The loans that were ok were given to us for free he he!
superhorns Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 But it doesn't bother you that you've been using other clubs to hide debts? Buy at Udinese, give to Watford. Buy at Granada, give to Watford. I'm sure there will be pay back when we reach the prem, which is only fair.
Steven Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Watford made a small profit last year. We will never be reckless like LCFC have been in the past leaving huge debts unpaid. As ta 30/06/2013 you had an outstanding deficit of £9,543,000. Watford need the £10 million to clear their debt. http://www.watfordfc.com/documents/13118-2013-report-and-financial-statements286-1181336.pdf
