Are we getting Cambiasso, or aren't we? Should we now get him, or shouldn't we? Will Lee Cattermole be a factor in the equation? Is Hull, dull? For those old enough to remember, the thread has become like an episode of SOAP... A truly incredible thread, the like of which I can't recollect for some time. If we are serious about him and have actually approached him then I think that time is now. This can't be allowed to drag on much longer. If we miss out so be it, he clearly wouldn't have want to come here anyway but if we can't get him we need to look elsewhere and get things sorted. Time is starting to run out.

We are talking about a multi-million pound deal, though. Sometimes these things take time. I'm sure some teams won't have deals worked out until the January window.

I'd end this saga tbh if I were the club/whoever's dealing with it, I can only presume Cambiasso is holding out for bigger and better things, he obviously doesn't really want to come to the club, I know he's a good player and it would be good to have a player of his calibre and experience but i'd give him a final offer, set a deadline if he/his agent havn't got back to us by then, well, the deal is off. I'm not experienced in these situation and don't know how they work exactly but the above is basically give or take a few changes to the situation, basically i'd pressure him into making a decision of whether he wants to come or not, if not we move on, identifying other targets because we need to do that and wasting our time on this dare I say premadonna, chasing after him is doing us no good.

There is no saga. Only on here and social media. We have no idea how many conversations have happened and any results of them. We have no idea how close or how far we've come to this signing or again how far we are of concluding it either.
