Robin JD Popley Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I wouldn't class that as reliable but it does make me more excited. Haha, yes, I agree about the reliability but - that's a fair reaction mate. I genuinely cannot recall a time The People called a transfer correctly bar the major ones when they'd already been announced.
The Don Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 As a free transfer, it doesn't benefit the agent to leak to the press. He can ring up all the clubs in the world to get a better deal. It would be his job to do so. I can't fathom whom this may benefit? Maybe another incoming player? Campbell's agent playing games after we refused to pay him what he wanted? We could even be paying cambiasso a lot more than is reported and was leaked by us to downplay the figures! I guess we will never know the reqson
weller54 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Money talks!!.. If it's all about the money let him go there!!... Money has ruined football!!...
st albans fox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Expect no write up for home games as NP may ban the sun after this. Also would not expect many comments from him in the sun. defo not putting any citeh players in my dreamteam now ! regarding agents ringing around clubs - of course they do. my point was that once a deal is agreed, it is not usual for an agent to ring around and try and get a better package elsewhere (who would negotiate with someone like that - you would never know where you stood). however, to leak it means that all clubs are alerted to the package agreed and are then able to try and hijack the agreed deal, thus delivering a better result for the agent/player without compromising their integrity.
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Used to actively dislike Harry (anyone that calls him 'Arry is a bellend) Redknapp when he was at Spurs. But during the last season and a bit he's been ****ing ridiculous. Don't think there has ever been a manager with so much undeserved arrogance. Someone like Mourinho or Ferguson deserves to be arrogant IMO, because of what they've done. Harry has ruined a football club to buy the F.A. Cup. That's it. Funny how he won't talk about Portsmouth now. He doesn't give a shit. But if someone asks "Leicester are after a winger aren't they?" "Oh yes gunva, a real tricky geezer. 'Ave a bang on that. I'll only join if it's called 4-3-3". What a dick.
Nick Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 He'll be on 30k a week like everybody else except he'll be given a golden handshake of say, four hundred and forty thousand quid to make up the 2 million or whatever the deal is for a year's contract. Hope he signs but I think this is far from being done yet.
chapero82 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I asked them if they were being serious and this was their reply
Kitchandro Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Do people really think we are paying everyone 30K a week?

I thought after finally getting shut of Col's we only had DT's dire-tribe to worry about.
kingfox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Let me come too, starting to really rub me up the wrong way. Get the police involved then, the dirty pervert.
FNQ Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esteban_Cambiasso#Leicester_City
dpjfox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 if its money thats his prime consideration surely Russia or Quatar would be his destination, makes sense to believe "im looking for a project to invest in" - River Plate Real Madrid Inter Milan Leicester.. what a career
Thracian Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Thracian excited by a 33 year old signing. I'm going back to bed. Depends if we're talking hacks or thoroughbreds.
Robin JD Popley Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Know its clutching at straws but Sky Sports News headline bar on the Premier League bit are reporting every story that was listed on that Mercado twitter feed last night. They've now got DeAndre Yedlin to Spurs on the bottom which I believe was also on there last night, as was Vermaelen to Barca...
Corky Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I thought QPR had changed from signing over-32s and players who are deemed to be past it? Just let us sign one for once
Babylon Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Do people really think we are paying everyone 30K a week?Conrad is ok 31k.

Some way off your estimate.
sylofox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Do people really think we are paying everyone 30K a week? Yes as some dickhead jurno put it in a story. Makes me piss though rumours in papers of a target and it's all shite. But put something about a wage cap or a certain player is on X amount and that same jurno is telling the truth.

Some way off your estimate. Some reports are saying it's £2m though, rather than euros. So you can add 2m- 1598903.22= 401,096.78 onto that signing on fee, making it 440,000
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I didn't mention euro's. But €2m is what everyone is reporting.
